Nutzungsinformation
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Schwenkarm mit der ø 36 mm Aufnahme kommt überall dort zum Einsatz wo mit einem Mi-
krofon eine größere Distanz überwunden werden muss. Durch das Auszugsrohr und dem ver-
stellbaren Gegengewicht ist eine hohe Flexibilität bei der Anwendung möglich. Für Boxen bzw.
Leuchtenstative mit einem Rohrenden ø von 35 mm geeignet. Durch das Reduziergewinde kön-
nen Mikrofone mit 3/8" und 5/8" Gewinde montiert werden.
Vorhersehbare Fehlanwendung
Schwenkarm nicht mit montiertem Mikrofon transportieren.
Allgemeines
uDie Klemmschrauben sind während des Transportes oder der Lagerung stehts geschlossen zu
uhalten.
uGeeignetes Stativ verwenden: Das Stativ muss ein Rohrende-ø von 35 mm besitzen. Des
uWeiteren muss es über eine ausreichende Standsicherheit und Tragfähigkeit verfügen. Hierzu
udie Nutzungsinformation des verwendeten Stativs beachten.
uDurch umfallen des Statives oder herabfallen des Schwenkarmes können Personen und
uSachschäden entstehen.
uDurch die Verstellmöglichkeit besteht Quetschgefahr zwischen den Bauteilen.
uDurch die Lage des Schwenkarmes besteht eine Gefahr durch herabfallende Teile.
uDer Nutzer muss körperlich und fachlich geeignet sein.
uDie Nutzungsinformation ist Bestandteil des Artikels und ist für dessen Lebensdauer
uaufzubewahren bzw. an jeden nachfolgenden Besitzer oder Benutzer weiterzugeben.

Montage
1.) Auspacken und Artikel auf Beschädigungen und Vollständigkeit prüfen

Der Schwenkarm ist fertig montiert.
Um das Auszugrohr verstellen zu können muss die Spannmuffe 1aufgeschraubt werden, die
gewünschte Länge einstellen und die Spannmuffe 1wieder festziehen. Des Weiteren kann die
Länge noch über das Grundrohr verstellt werden. Hierzu die Klemmschraube 2am Gelenk lösen
und das Grundrohr in die gewünschte Position bringen. Klemmschraube 2wieder handfest an-
ziehen.

Wartung, Reinigung und Instandsetzung
uWartung: Regelmäßige Kontrolle auf festen Sitz der Schraubverbindungen.
uReinigung: Zum Reinigen des Schwenkarmes ein leicht befeuchtetes Tuch benutzen.
uKeine chlorhaltigen oder scheuernde Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Diese verursachen
uSchäden an Oberfläche und Lack.
uInstandsetzen: Auftretende Schäden sofort beheben und Schwenkarm nicht weiter be-
unutzen.Instandhaltungsarbeiten dürfen nur durchgeführt werden, wenn Sie die erforderlichen
uKenntnisse hierfür besitzen. Bei fehlenden Teilen kontaktieren Sie den Hersteller über
uwww.k-m.de.Hier gelangen Sie anhand der Artikelnummer, die Sie auf dem Typenschild
ufinden, zu einementsprechenden Ersatzteilblatt. Über dieses können Sie die fehlenden oder
udefekten Teile Nachbestellen.
2.) Montage
Schwenkarm auf Stativ montieren: Voraussetzung,
verwendetes Stativ ist ordnungsgemäß aufgestellt.
Klemmschraube 3an Schwenkarmaufnahme öffnen
und Schwenkarm auf Stativ aufsetzen. Klemm-
schraube 3wieder handfest anziehen.
Verstellen der Neigung: Den Schwenkarm festhal-
ten und den Knebel 4am Gelenk lösen. Gewünschte
Neigung einstellen und Knebel 4wieder handfest
anziehen.
Gegengewicht einstellen: Mit Hilfe des Gegenge-
wichtes wird der Schwenkarm in Balance bzw. in
Waage gehalten. Hierzu die Klemmschraube 5am
Gegengewicht lösen, Gegengewicht in die ge-
wünschte Position bringen und Klemmschraube 5
wieder handfest anziehen. Über eine Verstellung des
Grundrohres oder Auszugrohres kann die Balance
ebenfalls beeinflusst werden.

Lagerung, Entsorgung
Lagern Sie den Schwenkarm an einem trockenen Ort.
Führen Sie zerlegte Bestandteile der Wiederverwertung zu:
uVerschrotten Sie alle Komponenten aus Metall.
uFühren Sie alle Komponenten aus Kunststoff, Papier und Kartonage der Wiederverwertung
ubzw. Recycling zu.
uSortieren Sie alle anderen Komponenten nach Materialbeschaffenheit und entsorgen Sie
udiese gemäß den örtlichen Bestimmungen.

Information for use
Intended use
The boom arm disposes of a 36 mm diameter adapter to be used wherever a microphone has to
cover a greater distance. The extension tube and the adjustable counterweight allows a high de-
gree of flexibility. The boom arm is suited for speaker or lighting stands with a tube end of a 35
mm diamater. Due to the reducing thread you can mount microphones with 3/8" and 5/8" threads.
Foreseeable misapplication
Do not transport the boom arm when the microphone is mounted.
General
uDuring transport or storage the clamping screws must be kept closed at all times.
uUse a suitable stand: The stand must have a tube end diameter of 35 mm. Furthermore, it
ushould have sufficient stability and load-bearing capacity. Observe the instructions of the stand
uin use.
uShould the stand or the boom arm fall down, personal injury and/or material damage may
uoccur.
uThere is a risk of crushing between the components on account of the adjustment possibilities.
uDue to the position of the boom arm, there is danger of falling parts.
uThe user should be physically fit and technically competent.
uThe usage information is an integral part of the product and should be kept for its service life
uor passed on to any subsequent owner or user.

The boom arm is fully assembled.
In order to be able to adjust the extension tube, the clamping sleeve 1must be screwed on, set
the desired length and retighten the clamping sleeve 1. The length can also be adjusted via the
base tube. To do this, loosen the clamping screw 2on the joint and bring the base tube into the
desired position. Retighten the clamping screw 2hand-tight.

Maintenance, cleaning and repair
uMaintenance: Regularly check if the screw connections are tight.
uCleaning: Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the boom arm. Do not use chlorinated or
uabrasive cleaning agents. These will cause damage to the surface and varnish.
uRepair: Immediately repair any damage that occurs and stop using the boom arm.
uMaintenance work may only be carried out if you have the necessary knowledge. If any parts
uare missing, contact the manufacturer at www.k-m.de. Here you can find a corresponding

umissing or damaged components.
2.) Mounting
Mount the boom arm on the stand: Prerequisite,
the stand used must be set up correctly. Open clam-
ping screw 3on the boom arm holder and place the
swivel arm on the stand. Tighten clamping screw 3
hand-tight again.
Tilt adjustment: Hold the boom arm and loosen the
T-bar locking screw 4on the joint. Set the desired in-
clination and retighten the T-bar locking screw 4
hand-tight.
Adjust the counterweight: The counterweight is
used to keep the boom arm in balance. For the ad-
justment loosen the clamping screw 5on the counter-
weight, bring the counterweight into the desired
position and retighten the clamping screw 5hand-
tight. The balance can also be influenced by adjus-
ting the base tube or the extension tube.

Storage, disposal
Store the boom arm in a dry place.
Recycle disassembled components:
uScrape all components made of metal.
uRecycle or reuse all plastic, paper, and cardboard components.
uSort all other components according to material composition and dispose of them
uaccording to local regulations.
