Tools and Materials
Before You Begin
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Shut off the water supplies.
Carefully inspect waste and supply tubing for any sign of
damage and replace if necessary.
For new installations, assemble the sidespray to the sink before
installing the sink.
Do not use petroleum based products on this sidespray.
This sidespray is intended for use with a main kitchen faucet.
Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of
faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

1. Install the Assembly
IMPORTANT! This procedure must be followed to ensure proper
installation and handle operation.
Turn the handle counterclockwise to the closed position.
Remove the valve body from the assembly.
Insert the O-ring into the groove of the escutcheon.
Slide the escutcheon with O-ring onto the assembly.
Insert the assembly through the mounting hole.
With the handle still in the closed position, turn the entire
assembly in the mounting hole until the handle is pointing in the
desired closed position.
From underneath the sink, securely hand tighten the nut onto the
assembly.
With the handle still in the closed position, line up the notch on
the valve body with the notch on the assembly, then slide them
together.
Fasten the valve body and assembly together with two thumb
screws. Do not overtighten the thumb screws.

2. Connect the Supplies
CAUTION: Risk of restricted waterflow and product
damage. Use extreme care to avoid kinking and twisting the
supply hoses. Hoses must not be taut after installation.
Install two 3/8″supply tees with supply stops below the
mounting surface. Ensure the supply tees do not interfere with
items below the sink.
NOTE: If the supply hoses must be coiled, maintain an inside coil
diameter of at least 3″(7.6 cm).
Connect and tighten the supply hoses to the supply tees.
Feed the spray hoses with handspray through the assembly until
the handspray is properly seated.
Connect and tighten the handspray hose outlet to the valve body
inlet.

3. Installation Checkout
IMPORTANT! Failure to follow these steps could result in a
plugged handspray.
Verify the handle is in the closed position and all connections are
tight.
Turn the handspray counterclockwise to disconnect the handspray
from the spray hose.
Place the spray hose in a bucket, then slowly turn on the hot and
cold water supplies.
Slowly turn the handle to the full cold position. Let the cold
water run for one minute to flush away any debris.
Slowly turn the handle to the full hot position. Let the hot water
run for one minute to flush away any debris.
Turn the handle counterclockwise to the closed position.
Reattach and tightly secure the handspray to the spray hose.
Check all connections for leaks.

Avant de commencer
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Couper les alimentations d’eau.
Vérifier avec soin si l’évacuation ou les tubes d’alimentation pour
déceler tout signe d’endommagement et remplacer si nécessaire.
Pour de nouvelles installations, installer le vaporisateur latéral sur
l’évier avant d’installer ce dernier.
Ne pas utiliser de produits à base de pétrole sur ce vaporisateur
latéral.
Ce vaporisateur latéral est conçu pour utilisation avec un robinet
principal de cuisine.

1. Installer l’ensemble
IMPORTANT ! Cette procédure doit être suivie pour assurer une
bonne installation et opération de la poignée.
Tourner la poignée vers la gauche en position fermée.
Retirer le corps de valve de l’ensemble.
Insérer le joint torique dans la rainure de l’applique.
Glisser l’applique avec le joint-torique sur l’ensemble.
Insérer l’ensemble à travers l’orifice de fixation.
Avec la poignée encore en position fermée, tourner tout
l’ensemble dans l’orifice de fixation jusqu’à ce que la poignée soit
pointée en position fermée.
D’en-dessous de l’évier, bien serrer à la main l’écrou sur
l’ensemble.
Avec la poignée encore en position fermée, aligner l’encoche sur
le corps de valve avec celle de l’ensemble, puis les glisser
ensemble.
Attacher le corps de valve et l’ensemble avec deux vis de serrage.
Ne pas trop serrer les vis.

2. Connecter les alimentations
ATTENTION : Risque de restriction du débit d’eau et
d’endommagement du produit. Faire extrêmement attention
afin d’éviter de plier ou coincer les tuyaux d’alimentation. Ne
pas tendre fortement les flexibles après l’installation.
Installer deux T d’alimentation de 3/8″avec des arrêts
d’alimentation sous la surface de montage. S’assurer que les T
d’alimentation n’interfèrent pas avec les parties sous l’évier.
REMARQUE : Si les tuyaux d’alimentation doivent être embobinés,
maintenir un diamètre de boucle intérieur de 3″(7,6 cm).
Connecter et serrer les tuyaux d’alimentation aux T
d’alimentation.
Alimenter les tuyaux du vaporisateur avec la douchette à travers
l’ensemble jusqu’à ce que la douchette repose correctement.
Connecter et serrer la sortie de tuyau de douchette à l’entrée du
corps de valve.

3. Vérification de l’installation
IMPORTANT ! Le non-suivi de ces étapes pourrait résulter en
douchette débranchée.
Vérifier que la poignée est en position fermée et que toutes les
connexions sont serrées.
Tourner la douchette vers la gauche pour la déconnecter du tuyau
de vaporisateur.
Placer le tuyau de vaporisateur dans un seau, puis tourner
lentement les alimentations d’eau chaude et froide.
Tourner lentement la poignée complètement vers la position
froide. Laisser couler l’eau froide pendant une minute pour
chasser tout débris.
Tourner lentement la poignée complètement vers la position
chaude. Laisser couler l’eau chaude pendant une minute pour
chasser tout débris.
Tourner la poignée vers la gauche en position fermée.
Rattacher et bien serrer la douchette au tuyau de vaporisateur.
Vérifier s’il y a des fuites dans les connexions.
