Before You Begin
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Shut off the water supplies.
Carefully inspect waste and supply tubing for any sign of
damage and replace if necessary.
For new installations, assemble the faucet on the sink before
installing the sink.
Before installation, unpack the new faucet and inspect it for
damage. Return the faucet to the carton until you are ready to
install it.
Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of
faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

1. Spout/Handspray Installation
Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside
of the spout base according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Thread the nut and washer to the bottom of the shank.
Insert the shank from the bottom of the sink.
Thread the spout to the bottom of the shank, then loosen the
spout 1/8 of a turn.
Tighten the nut and washer to secure the shank to the sink.
Slide the provided gasket to the spray holder.
Slide the spray holder through the mounting hole from above.
Securely hand tighten the nut to the shank from under the sink.
Insert the handspray hose through the spray holder.
Attach the hose to the shank tee using thread sealant.

Apply plumbers putty.

2. Valve Body/Tee Installation
Apply thread sealant to the coupling nut threads of the flexible
hoses.
Thread the flexible hoses to the valve body outlets. Do not
overtighten.
Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside
of the escutcheons according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Insert the valve bodies into the mounting holes from the top of
the sink. Make sure the hot valve body is installed in the
left-hand hole and the cold valve body is installed in the
right-hand hole.
Install a washer and nut to the bottom of the valve bodies.
Align the valve bodies so the copper tubing faces the outside.
Wrench tighten the nuts.
Remove any excess plumbers putty.
Connect and tighten the hoses to the shank tee.

3. Supply Installation
NOTE: If the sink is not installed, install it at this time. Be sure to
follow all instructions packed with the sink.
Slide the coupling nuts and ferrules onto the supply tubes.
Secure the supply tubes and valve body inlets with coupling nuts.
Carefully insert the supply tubes into the valve body inlets and
shut-off valve outlets (if used).
Position the round end of the supply tube squarely to the valve
inlet and supply stop. Tighten all coupling nuts.
4. Installation Checkout
Ensure that both faucet handles are turned off. Hot is clockwise
close and cold is counterclockwise close.
Turn on the hot and cold water supplies. Check for leaks.
Turn on the hot and cold water supplies.
Remove the aerator by turning it counterclockwise.
Turn on the hot and cold faucet handles for one minute to flush
debris from the faucet.
Close the hot and cold water handles.
Reattach the aerator by turning it clockwise until hand tight.

Avant de commencer
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Couper les alimentations d’eau.
Vérifier avec soin si l’évacuation ou les tubes d’alimentation pour
déceler tout signe d’endommagement et remplacer si nécessaire.
Pour de nouvelles installations, installer le robinet sur l’évier
avant d’installer ce dernier.
Avant l’installation, déballer le nouveau robinet et l’examiner
pour en déceler tout dommage. Remettre le robinet dans son
emballage de protection jusqu’à être prêt à l’installation.

1. Installation du bec/vaporisateur
Appliquer du mastic d’étanchéité ou un produit semblable sur le
dessous de la base du bec selon les instructions du fabricant du
mastic.
Visser l’écrou et la rondelle sur la base du manche.
Insérer le manche de la base de l’évier.
Visser le bec à la base du manche, puis desserrer le bec de 1/8 de
tour.
Serrer l’écrou et la rondelle pour sécuriser le manche sur l’évier.
Glisser le joint fourni sur le support du vaporisateur.
Glisser le support du vaporisateur à travers l’orifice de montage
d’en-dessus.
Sécuriser à la main l’écrou sur le manche d’en-dessous de l’évier.
Insérer le flexible du vaporisateur dans son support.
Attacher le tuyau au T du manche avec du joint d’étanchéité pour
filetage.

2. Installation corps de valve/T
Appliquer du joint d’étanchéité aux filetages des écrous de
couplage des tuyaux flexibles.
Connecter les tuyaux flexibles les sorties des corps de valve. Ne
pas trop serrer.
Appliquer du mastic de plombier ou un joint semblable sous les
appliques selon les instructions du fabricant du mastic.
Insérer les corps des valves dans les orifices de fixation au-dessus
de l’évier. S’assurer que le corps de valve d’eau chaude soit
installé dans l’orifice gauche, et que celui d’eau froide le soit dans
l’orifice droit.
Installer une rondelle et un écrou à la base des corps de valve.
Aligner les corps de valve de manière à orienter la tuyauterie en
cuivre vers l’extérieur.
Serrer les écrous à la clé.
Retirer tout excédent de mastic de plombier.
Raccorder et serrer les flexibles au T du manche.

3. Installer l’alimentation
REMARQUE : Installer l’évier à cet instant, s’il ne l’est pas déjà.
S’assurer de suivre les instructions emballées avec l’évier.
Glisser les écrous de couplage et bagues d’extrémité sur les
tuyaux d’alimentation.
Sécuriser les tubes d’alimentation et les entrées de corps avec les
écrou de couplage.
Insérer délicatement les tuyaux d’alimentation dans les entrées du
corps de valve et sorties de valve de fermeture (si utilisés).
Positionner avec soin l’extrémité arrondie du tube d’alimentation
d’équerre sur l’entrée de valve et robinet d’arrêt. Serrer tous les
écrous de couplage.
4. Vérification de l’installation
S’assurer de fermer les deux poignées de robinet. Le chaud est à
droite et froid est vers la gauche.
Ouvrir les alimentations d’eau chaude et froide. Vérifier s’il y a
des fuites.
Ouvrir les alimentations d’eau chaude et froide.
Retirer l’aérateur en le tournant vers la gauche.
Ouvrir l’eau chaude et froide pendant une minute pour purger
les débris du robinet.
