1. Safety Instructions
-efore using this product, read and follow all warnings and
instructions.
-This device is not intended for use by people (including children)
with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or a lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they’re under supervision or have received
instructions about the correct use of the device by the person who
is responsible for their safety;
-This product is intended for household use only and not for
commercial or industrial use.
-Do not expose to dripping or splashing.
-No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed
on or near the product.
-Ventilation should not be impeded by covering ventilation openings
with items such as newspapers, table cloths, curtains and the like.
-Make sure the unit is adjusted to a stable position. Damage caused
by using this product in an unstable position or by failure to follow
any other warning or precaution contained within this user manual
will not be covered by warranty.
-Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases on or near the
product.
-Do not use or store this product in a place where it is subject to
direct sunlight, heat, excessive dust or vibration.
-Do not keep or store this product in wet conditions for a long
period.
-Do not clean this product with water or other liquids.
-Do not block or cover the slots and holes in the product.
-Do not push foreign objects into the slots or holes in the product.
-Do not attempt to open this product yourself. There are no user
serviceable parts inside.
-Do not allow children access to plastic bags.

please note that: All batteries and accumulators need to be removed
from this product (Removal of Waste atteries and Accumulators).
• Always bring your product to a professional to remove the built-in
battery.
2. The Speaker
2.1. Functionalities
-luetooth Version 2.1.
-Compatible LUETOOTH profile: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP.
-y connecting the speaker with a smartphone via LUETOOTH, you
can talk hands-free using the built-in microphone and speaker.
-You can enjoy up to 5 hours of continuous wireless music playback
with the built-in lithium rechargeable battery.
-External input jack: AUX IN.
-You can enjoy slow and fast RG decoration light effect for little fun.
-Charging the speaker by connecting to a computer with the Micro-
US cable supplied.

3. Usin the Speaker
3.1. Rechar eable Battery & Char in
This luetooth Speaker has an internal, non-user-replaceable battery. For
the best results, the first time you use this luetooth Speaker, let it
charge for about 2 ~ 3 hours, or until the red “ MODE” indicator (7)
light switches to off; this means the battery is fully charged.
To maintain the battery life and performance, you should recharge the
battery if the speaker isn’t used for a while. Charge the battery at least
once every month.
To recharge the built-in battery:
1.
Connect the luetooth Speaker’s “Micro US Socket” (8) with the
Computer’s US port through the US cable (provided).
2.
The “ MODE” Indicator (7) will show a red light, which means the
battery is charging.
3.
The “ MODE” Indicator (7) will turn automatically off when the
battery is fully charged.
4.
Disconnect the US cable when it is done with charging.
3.2. Power On/Off and Pairin
1.
Press and hold the “ / ” (3) button to turn on the device; a series of
tones will sound and the “ MODE” Indicator (7) will rapidly flash blue
in seconds from blinks. The speaker is in the luetooth pairing mode.

Then activate the luetooth function on your mobile device (such as a
Smartphone or Personal Computer); the device will enter to luetooth
searching mode automatically. If this doesn’t happen, tap the related
selection to manually enter to searching mode. (refer to your device’s
manual if necessary).
3.
Your mobile device should show “ICES IBTS-6” in the luetooth
Devices list, and then select it for pairing. Wait for some seconds and
you will see the message that you are connected on your mobile

device. Note: For some luetooth devices, you may need to input
“0000” as pairing password.
4.
If the pairing is successful, a beep sound will be heard and the “
MODE” Indicator (7) will switch to slow blinking blue instead of fast.
5.
At the same time, the RG decoration lights will turn On automatically
once luetooth is in paired mode.
6.
Now, you can start to play music from your mobile device by its music
player program.
7.
To power OFF the speaker, press and hold the “ / ” (3) button.
Note:
- To save battery energy, the luetooth Speaker will turn to the off
mode automatically when no device is paired in 8 minutes.
- The RG decoration lights cannot be turned on when the speaker in
luetooth at searching/pairing mode.
3.3. Disconnect from a Paired Device
1.
To disconnect with a paired device, preferably turn off the luetooth
Speaker directly. Other options:

You can choose “Disconnect” from your luetooth paired device list or
turn “Off” the luetooth function on your mobile device.

In this case the luetooth Speaker will switch back to
“Searching/Pairing” mode automatically itself; a series of tones will
sound and the “ MODE” Indicator (7) will rapidly flash blue again
instead of blinking slowly.
4.
Now, you can process for new mobile device pair or power Off the
luetooth Speaker as you want (refer to part 3.2 above).
3.4. Auto Re-connect with a Paired Device and New Pairin
1.
Every time you turn On the luetooth speaker power, it will firstly
search for the mobile device that was paired previously and which is
still in record. The luetooth Speaker will re-connect this mobile
device as priority if it is in luetooth searching device mode and
connection range.

If not found in some seconds, the luetooth Speaker then will turn
into new pairing mode automatically.
3.
Now you can process for new mobile device pair (refer to part 3.2
above).
3.5. Switch to New Pairin from Connected Mode

1.
In luetooth connected mode, you can switch the luetooth Speaker
into luetooth searching/pairing mode for pairing with the new device
at any time you desire;

Press and hold the “ / ” (5) button until a series of tones sound, the
“ MODE” Indicator (7) will switch to rapidly flashing blue instead of
blinking slowly.
3.
Now you can process for a new mobile device pair. (refer to part 3.2
above)
3.6. Bluetooth Music Playin Control Function
1.
In playing music, press the “ / ” (5) button to pause the playing
music. To resume press it again.
2.
Press and hold the “ / ” (6) button to increase the volume level.
3.
Press and hold the “ / ” (4) button to decrease the volume level.
4.
When the maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound
will be heard.
5.
Press the “ / ” (6) button once to go to the next track.
6.
Press the “ / ” (4) button once to go to the previous track.
3.7. Hands-Free Function
1.
When there is an incoming call during luetooth music playing mode,
the ringing sound will appear and the currently playing music will
automatically be paused.
2.
Press the “ / (5)” button to pick up the call if you want.
3.
Now you are using the hands-free function with the luetooth speaker.
4.
Press the “ / (5)” button again to hang up the call when it’s finished.
The music that was being paused, will resume to play automatically.
5.
Press and hold the “ / (5)” button for 3 seconds to ignore the
incoming call.
Tip: Speak to the “MIC” (10) hole directly with a distance between
30~60cm to get the best speakerphone performance, if necessary.
3.8. Re-dial for Last Call Function
This function is to re-dial the last-called number with the luetooth
Speaker, even when it is in music playing mode.
1. Press the “ / ” (5) button twice to enter into the re-dialing function;
the music that’s playing will automatically pause and switch to the
hands-free function for redial.
2. Press the “ / ” (5) button again to finish the redialed call.

3. Make sure that your mobile phone has a ‘last called’ number in its
record; if not, re-dialing the last-called number cannot be activated.
3.9. AUX-IN Function
1.
In the power ON mode, connect the luetooth Speaker’s “AUX IN
Jack” (9) with an external device’s “Earphone/AUX/LINE” Output
through the Audio Cable (Provided).
2.
The luetooth Speaker will switch to “AUX In” mode automatically
from the luetooth mode, and the “ MODE” Indicator (7) will
switch to a long light instead of blinking.
3.
At the same time, the RG decoration lights will turn on
automatically once AUX In is in the connected mode.
4.
Now the AUX In function is ready, start to play music from your
external device by its controls and/or program: for example Play,
Stop, Volume Control etc.

You also can use the controls on the Speaker itself:
-Press and hold the “ / (6)” button to increase the volume level.
-Press and hold the “ / (4)” button to decrease the volume level.

When the maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound
will be heard.
7.
Disconnect the Audio cable when it is done.
3.10 RGB Decoration Li hts Effect On and Off
1.
This device’s design allows you to switch the RG decoration lights
effect On and Off in order to save the battery energy if you want it to.
This option can extend the playing time for music.
2.
Press the “ / ” (3) button shortly to switch Off the RG light.
3.
Press this button shortly again to switch on the RG light.
4.
Furthermore, the RG decoration lights will turn On again
automatically each time you switch between the luetooth paired
mode and the AUX in mode.
3.11 Low Power Reminder and Power Off
1.
In case the power of the Speaker is low, it will send tones every
minute as a reminder. When you hear this sound, please connect the
device with the US power for charge if you still want to use the
device.
2.
If you don’t do this, the luetooth Speaker will power Off
automatically within minutes.
3.
In this case, the device cannot be turned On, until you recharge the
battery at least 10 ~ 15 minutes, because the rechargeable battery

doesn’t have enough energy.
4.
Press and hold the “ / ” (3) button to turn the device On after it’s
charged with enough energy if you want.
3.12 Reset the Device
In some circumstances the device’s functions may not function well and
need to be reset. To reset the luetooth speaker:
Press the “ / ” (4) and the “ / ” (6) button at the same time; the
device is reset and turns OFF. Then press and hold the “ / ” (3) button
to turn On and restart the device after the reset is done.
4. Trouble Shootin

Check whether the battery is charged with enough
energy.

Check whether the volume level is in lower position
on your speaker and mobile phone or PC/Mac.
• Make sure that your luetooth device is within the
effective operation range.
• Check whether the luetooth device is paired.
• Check whether the luetooth device shows it’s
connected.
• Check whether you have selected the correct audio
source.
• If using the AUX IN port, make sure the 3.5mm jack
cable is securely inserted into the luetooth Speaker
and your device.
No response
from speaker

Restart the speaker by means of the reset function.

which means that in case of repairs (both during and after the warranty
period) you should contact your local dealer.
Important note: It is not possible to send products that need repairs to
ICES directly.

center in any way, the warranty expires.
This device is not suitable for professional use. In case of professional use,
all warranty obligations of the manufacturer will be voided.
