
4. While holding the seat slide lever upward and continuing to push the Allen wrench
upward on the seat assembly lock tab, pull the seat forward until the seat assembly
disengages with the control assembly on the Ceres chair. Make sure to push the lock
tab upward enough to disengage from the control (Note: the lock tab should only
need to be pushed slightly upward to disengage the seat assembly from the control).
5. Take the replacement seat assembly and center the seat assembly on the four control
posts as indicated below in Figure 4 (next page):
6. While holding seat slide lever upward, push the seat assembly forward until you hear
a ‘click’ or ‘popping’ sound. This sound indicates that the seat assembly lock tab has
engaged the control assembly.
