6.4HotWaterConnection
Thewatersupplytotheappliancecan alsobeconnectedtothe house'shotwaterline (centralised
system,heatingsystem),aslongasit doesnot exceedatemperatureof60¡æ.
Inthiscase,thewashcycletimewillbeshortenedbyabout15minutesandthewashefficiencyslightly
reduced.
The connectionmustbemade tothe hotwaterline following the sameproceduresasthoseforthe
connectiontothe coldwaterline.
6.5Anti-FloodingProtection
Thedishwasherisequipped withasystemthatstopsthesupplyofwaterintheeventofaproblemwith
the watersupplyhose,orleaks withinthe unit, inorderto
preventdamagetoyourhome.Ifforanyreason the box
containingthe electricalcomponentshappenstoget
damaged, removethe plugforthe appliancefromthe socket
immediately.Inordertoguarantee thattheanti-flooding
featureoperatesproperly,the "A"boxwithwatersupplyhose
mustbeattached tothe watersupplytapasshownin
Fig.1.Noothertypeofconnectionisacceptable.The water
supplyhosemust not, underanycircumstances, becut, asit
containselectricalpartswhicharelive.Ifthe lengthofthe
hoseisnotadequatetomakeaproperconnection,the hose
mustbereplaced withone whichislongenough.Thishose
isavailableupon requestfromspecialised retailersand
servicecenters.
6.6DrainHose Connection
Insertthe drainhoseintoadrainpipewithaminimumdiameterof4cm,orletitrun intothe sink,making
suretoavoidbendingorcrimpingit. Usethe specialplasticsupportthatcomeswiththe appliance(see
Fig.2).The free endofthe hosemustbeataheightbetween 40 and 100 cmand mustnotbeimmersed in
water.
