Keep this instruction sheet for future reference,

as it contains important information.

Consumer Information

Wipe toy with a clean, damp cloth. Do not

immerse. This toy has no consumer serviceable

parts. Do not take apart.

Requires four AA batteries (included)

for operation.

Batteries included are for demonstration

purposes only.

Battery replacement is required. Only adults

should replace batteries. Tool required:

Phillips screwdriver (not included).

This product emits flashing lights at 5-30 cycles

per seconds.

AA (LR6)

•For longer life, use alkaline batteries.

•Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door and remove

the door. Remove the exhausted batteries and dispose properly.

•Insert four, new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries.

•Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.

Do not over-tighten.

•If this toy begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the

electronics. Slide the power/mode switch (turtle’s tail) off and

back on.

•When sounds/lights become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to

change the batteries.

Slide turtle’s tail up or down to turn

•Press any of the buttons on Turtle’s shell. Turtle tells you what the

picture is and the letter it begins with or how it’s spelled.

•Listen carefully to Turtle’s question. Can you find the right word

on Turtle’s shell?

•In this mode, Turtle teaches rhyming. Listen carefully to Turtle’s

questions. Press a button on his shell or on his flippers

to answer.

Here’s what Turtle may ask:

•Listen for Turtle to give you a rhyming word. Find the word on his

shell that rhymes with it.

•Find all of the pictures that go together. Press the buttons on

Turtle’s shell. Did you find them all?

•First choose a rhyming word on Turtle’s shell. Listen carefully to

the word Turtle thinks rhymes. Is he right? Press Turtle’s flipper

buttons to choose yes or no. Then press the screen button to

confirm your selection.

In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that

battery leakage:

•Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different

types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable

(nickel-cadmium).

•Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.

•Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove

exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely.

Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may

explode or leak.

•Never short-circuit the battery terminals.

•Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.

•Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

•Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.

•If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be

charged under adult supervision.
