1. General Description
Congratulations on buying your NON-CONTACT medical fever thermometer BODY COMFORT
BC 07. This thermometer is especially designed to take the human body temperature or
temperature of the baby milk, baby food and others.
Depending on various skin types and thickness, there may be temperature differences.

2. Important Information
- This non-contact fever thermometer should only be used for the purposes described in this
instruction manual
- This non-contact fever thermometer is adjusted and calibrated in the production, so there
is no need of any additional adjustment, regulation or similar
- According to many clinical research studies, without complying with specific regulations,
there is no chance to compare the measurement results made on different types of
thermometers and on different parts of human body
- This thermometer can be used in an ambient temperature range between + 10 to 40 degree
Celsius only
- Do not expose this thermometer to the electric shocks and to extreme temperature
conditions of higher than 50 degree Celsius or lower than 0 degree Celsius
- Do not store or use this thermometer on relative humidity higher than 85 %
- With this fever thermometer you can make the body temperature measurement on
following body parts: behind the ear lobe, inside the ear, on the temple, orally, rectally,
axiliary, forehead
- After inserting a new batteries it is necessary to wait approximately 10 minutes prior to first
measurement
- Time distance between each following measurement must be at least 30 seconds!
- Do not use this thermometer near large electromagnetic fields such as mobile phones and
similar
- Keep this thermometer away from water or any liquid, away from heat or direct sunlight
- Do not drop or knock this thermometer and do not use it damaged
- Measurement accuracy can be affected by many factors ( for instance when the forehead is
covered by hair, perspiration, cap or scarf )
- Keep the measuring distance 1 – 10 centimeters only!
- This thermometer should be left in the room 15 – 20 minutes before measurement
Protective glass in front of the thermometer must be kept clean at all times !
NEVER focus this thermometer towards the eyes!

4. Intended Use
This non-contact infrared medical fever thermometer is designed for body temperature
measurement for infants and adults in “BODY” mode, without contact to human body.
Measurement environment range is 1 – 60 degree Celsius.
This thermometer can also be used to measure the temperature of baby-bottle, bath, or
room temperature by selecting the “ URFACE” measurement mode.

Temperature of the human body varies throughout the day. It can also be influenced by
many external factors like for example: age, sex, type and thickness of the skin and others.

9. Advices Before 1st Use
It is very important to follow instructions below, before starting a first measurement:
- After inserting the batteries into the battery compartment with the right polarization + and
– it is necessary to wait at least 10 minutes before 1st measurement,
- Check the forehead or other places of the measured person and make sure the measured
body part of is clean and without any perspiration, hair and others, what could cause wrong
measurement results,
- Check if the right measurement mode is
selected,“BODY” mode for body temperature or
“ URFACE” mode for baby milk or similar
- Focus the thermometer on the selected body part

10. Measuring Operation
This non-contact medical infrared fever thermometer BODY COMFORT BC 07 is designed and
produced especially for measuring body temperature in ear, temple, behind the ear lobe,
forehead only, all without any contact to the body, in environmental temperature range
described in this instruction manual. It can be used also for measurement of baby-bottles
and similar.
How to use properly this thermometer? Press the measurement trigger while focusing the
thermometer on the selected body parts, and there will be a beeping signal produced by the
thermometer after around 2 seconds, what means the measurement is completed. Watch
the back side of the thermometer, where the measurement result will be displayed for few
seconds.Measurement can be repeated after 30 seconds, by doing the same as before - push
the measurement trigger again and follow the same steps as described above.

Additional functions of this thermometer:
-a- Choosing temperature range C/F – Function F 1
Press “MODE” button for 2 seconds and the screen displays F1. elect „DOWN” for degree
Celsius , or select “UP” for degree Fahrenheit.
-b- Alarm selection F2 Menu
Press “MODE” button for 2 seconds and on the screen will be displayed F1.
Press “MODE” twice to get F2. elect “UP” to increase the threshold by 0,1 degree Celsius, or
select “DOWN” to reduce it by 0,1 degree Celsius.
NOTE: The pre-adjusted alarm threshold default value is 38 degree Celsius.
To inish any adjustment press “MODE” button until the display will be switched o .
The body temperature is usually different from room or environment temperature.
Data Memory
Press “UP” or “DOWN” button to display the last temperature measurement.
When the thermometer is off, press “UP” and “DOWN” button together for 2 seconds to
display the last temperature measurement.
At this mode if change the order number to 0 and press “MODE” button, then delete all
memory data.
If you change the order number to “0” and press “MODE” button at this mode, then all
memory data will be deleted.
Changing the Batteries
It is necessary to use 2 pcs of non-rechargeable 1,5 Volt AAA
batteries. When the LCD screen displays the sign of low battery,
open the lid and change the batteries taking a great care with the
correct positioning of + and – of battery polarity ! A mistake with
this could cause damage of the thermometer and compromise the
guarantee of this thermometer. Never use rechargeable batteries!
Use only batteries for single use! If the thermometer is not in use
for longer time, remove the batteries from the thermometer to
extend the usage time and avoid any damage resulting from
leaking batteries.
Durability of this Thermometer
This non-contact infrared Thermometer was designed for intense and long-term use. Its
durability is adjusted to approximately 40.000 measurements.

11. Maintenance and Cleaning
The protective glass over the lens is the most important and fragile part of the thermometer,
please take great care of it.
The infrared sensor is the most precise part, so it must be protected carefully.
Clean the thermometer with a cotton bud lightly moistened with 70 % alcohol.
Do not clean the thermometer with corrosive detergent.
Keep the device away from water or other liquids.

12. Troubleshooting
While using this thermometer could happen to display on the screen following symbols “HI”
or “Lo”.
-a-When is on the screen displayed “HI”, it means, the measurement result is higher than
42,5 degree (in “BODY” mode) or 60 degree Celsius (in “ URFACE” mode)
-b- When is on the screen displayed “Lo”, it means, the measurement result is lower than 32
degree
(in “BODY” mode) or 0 degree Celsius (in “ URFACE” mode) .

14. Guarantee
Manufacturer of non-contact infrared fever thermometer BODY COMFORT BC 07 is fully
responsible for all product damages caused by production only, in home individual use within
2 years after the date of the purchase. In any case of any professional or medical use, the
guarantee period is 6 months after the date of the purchase or invoice issuance. During this
date period manufacturer is responsible to solve the product damages caused only by the
production for free. Any transportation fee is to account of the customer.
This guarantee does not include any damages caused by user, unauthorized staff or similar.
Manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused through non-proper use of this
thermometer for different purpose as described in this instruction manual. In any case of any
non-authorized hit or intervention into this thermometer, fall out any right or requirement
for any guarantee. To apply successfully for the eventual guarantee service is necessary to
present the original bill or invoice of the authorized seller.
