Self-powered two-way loudspeaker
FORGE 15A is a self-powered two-way loudspeaker
that features a 15" speaker and 1" driver. With a
nominal power of 415W RMS and a maximum SPL
(@ 1M) of 128dB, this loudspeaker is ideal for sound
reinforcement in medium-scale applications. The
cabinet, built in ultra-resistant plastic, has an in-
tegrated class D amplier. Given its versatility and
reliability, FORGE 15A can be used as either FOH or
stage monitor, thanks to its design.

1. use only the recommended fuse type as indi-
cated in this manual. Do no short-circuit the
fuse holder. Before replaicing the fuse, make
sure that the product is OFF and disconnected
from the AC outlet.
2. Move this Equipment only with a cart, stand,
tripod, or bracket, specied by the manufac-
turer, or sold with the Equipment. When a cart
is used, use caution when moving the cart/
equipment combination to avoid possible inju-
ry from tip-over.
3. Permanent hearing loss may be caused by
expousure to extremely high noise levels. The
US Government´s Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) has specied
the permissible exposure to noise level. These
are shown in the following chart:
According to OSHA, an exposure to high SPL in excess of these limits may result in the loss of heat. To
avoid the potential damage of heat, it is recommended that Personnel exposed to equipment capable of
generating high SPL use hearing protection while such equipment is under operation.
The apparatus shall be connected to mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
The mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.

commercial and light industrial, urban outdoors. They are the apparatus Not intended for rack mounting.

4. INSTALLATION TIPS
• Thank you for choosing AMPRO. The new
FORGE SERIES cabinets have been designed
to provide a cost eective high grade solution
while maintainig high quality cabinet construc-
tion and optimum components. The FORGE
15A, can be used for all types of applications
including, but not limited to, churches, con-
ference centers and discos. The woofer and
driver combination provides excellent perfor-
mance rivaling those cabinets costing much
more.
• Speakers should be placed in a position that
allows for unobstructed sound projection. In
many instances it is benecial for speakers to
elevate on tripod stands to achieve maximum
dispersion and reach. Consider AMPRO speak-
er stand or equivalent to raise speakers.
• Using quality cables ensure best possible
sound. Consider using 16 or 14 gauge cables
or equivalent.
• Our Professional Audio Products are de-

• For best results match the speakers to a
good amplier that matches the wattage and
impedance of your speakers. Proper ampli-
cation power results in good quality audio

• Avoid pointing microphone directly at an
amplied speaker otherwise could cause
feedback possible damaging speaker compo-
nents and your hearing.

5. QUICK START
Make all initial connections with all the equip-
ments powered o, and ensure that all the
main volume controls are turned completely
down.
1. Connect one side of the signal cable at your
audio mixer into output left / right (with
Stereo-Jack or XLR) and the other side of the
cable into the line input Stereo-Jack) of your
active speaker cabinet.
2. Connect the power cord to mains.
3. Turn on your mixer rst, then the active
speaker cabinets.
4. Turn up the volume control of the active
speaker cabinets.
5. Use PFL function to get the proper input
level for the mixer, and adjust the main mix
level control to manipulate the output level.
6. After using, turn o your active speaker cabi-
nets rst, then the mixer.

6. RIGGING
The FORGE series speaker cabinet also provides the suspension points for installation. (M10 x 1.5PH
LENGTH: 30mm). For further details, please refer to the right illustration (OPTIONAL FUNCTIONAL)
