• Place the heat pack into the center of the microwave.
• Microwave for 45 seconds. For best results, flip the unit over after 20 seconds and continue heating for remaining time.
• Carefully touch the heat pack to check the temperature. If not warm enough, heat an additional 15 seconds.
• Use caution when removing from microwave as product may be hot. Before use, carefully check the temperature before applying
the heat pack. If it is too hot, allow the heat pack to cool.
• Your heat pack is now ready to use! Place the heat pack into the pocket on the underside of the HuggieKitty™ companion.
Note: The heat pack was designed to be used with the sound device.

HOW TO USE THE HUGGIEKITTY™ COMPANION?
Gradually introduce the HuggieKitty™ companion to your pet. It may take some time for your pet to bond with the HuggieKitty™ companion.
If at anytime you find your pet chewing on the HuggieKitty™, immediately remove it from them for a few hours and place it in a location they
cannot access. Once your pet has settled down you can slowly re-introduce them to the HuggieKitty™ companion again.
The HuggieKitty™ companion is not intended to be a chew toy.
Note: Always observe your cat when he/she is first introduced to the HuggieKitty™ companion.
HOW TO OPERATE THE SOUND DEVICE
You will need a #2 Phillps screwdriver and 2 AAA batteries. (not included)
HEATING THE REUSABLE HEAT PACK
NEVER EXCEED 1 MINUTE TOTAL HEATING TIME.
Step 1: Remove battery cover by unscrewing
the battery cover screw. Install the 2 AAA
batteries and screw the battery.
Step 4:
• Join inner pocket hook and loop strips. (Diagram A)
• Join large flap to outer pocket hook and loop strips. (Diagram B)
Step 3: Place the Sound Device
into the pocket on the underside
of the HuggieKitty™ companion.
Step 2:
• Quick 1st press - Purring 4 hours
• Quick 2nd press - Heartbeat 4 hours
• Quick 3rd press - Combined (Purring +
Heartbeat) 4 hours
• Quick Double press - Purring 8 hours
• Quick triple press - Heartbeat 8 hours
• Quick 4 Press - Combined (Purring +
Heartbeat) 8 hours
• Press and hold heart button for
5 seconds to power off.

CLEANING THE HUGGIEKITTY™ COMPANION
The HuggieKitty™ companion is machine washable cold, do not bleach, tumble dry low, do not iron, do not dry clean.
Please do not forget to remove the sound device and heat pack from
inside the HuggieKitty™ companion before washing.
Note: Do not use any fabric softeners during washing
• For Pet Use Only
• This item is not a children’s’ toy. Keep away from children to avoid injury.
• Use this product only for the purpose described in these instructions.
• This product does not contain user serviceable components. Do not take apart.
• Discard if any part becomes loose, damaged, detached or shows excessive wear.
• Do not leave heat pack unattended while heating.
• Allow heat pack to return to room temperature before reheating.
• HOT, take care when removing from microwave oven.
• Microwaved item may be much HOTTER INSIDE than indicated by initial touch
• Discard if found worn or damaged.
• This is not a children’s product. Keep out of children’s reach.
• The heating of this item should only be carried out by an adult.
• Due to variations in microwaves, it may be necessary to adjust temperature and time settings. These instructions are based
on an1100W microwave if you are using a higher-powered microwave, then you will need to reduce the heating time.
• Pets should be supervised when using this product.
• Remove product from pet if any part becomes loose or detached.
• Store out of pet’s reach when not in use.
• Do not use on any parts of the body. Only use with the HuggieKitty™ companion.
• Heat in Microwave only - Do not use convection function on your microwave.
• Do not use in microwave where the original turntable has been damaged or removed.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.
