DTRAN®offers a wide variety of products that allow wireless

service providers to cost-effectively expand their reach

and services, to meet a growing list of customer needs. The

MX4 Series addresses the need for efﬁcient bandwidth utilization.

They both deliver full DS0 control to service locations, allowing

full utilization of DS1 bandwidth. Up to 12 full T1s of bandwidth

are provided and are accessible at any point along the DS1 path.

ADTRAN’s MX4 Series offers an innovative,

single platform solution for complete band-

width utilization and remote management.

■Drop and insert up to 24 DS0 signals from

any DS1 interface on the terminal side

■Supports transport of digital and analog

radio data

■Integrated CSU/DSU functionality

Economical Design

The MX4 Series costs less than half the price

of other early generation remote management

and bandwidth utilization products.

■Practical and efﬁcient DS1 networking

■DS0 grooming allows for bandwidth

allocation for special services such

as E911 through a V.35 port

■Functional T1s may be groomed for

maximum bandwidth efﬁciency

■FXS port available on the MX412

1RU, 19-inch chassis with an optional

23-inch adapter.
