SAFETY GUIDELINES
When using electrical appliances, safety precautions should always be followed.
1. This instructions manual is an integral part of the appliance. Read all the instructions and
safety notices in the present manual carefully, as they provide important information about
usage and maintenance. Keep the manual for future reference.
2. If you do not understand the infomation, do not use the appliance and refer to professionally
qualified Zepter personnel.
3. After removing the packaging, make sure the device is intact, and carefully inspect the glass
surface and power cord.
4. Do not touch hot surfaces.
5. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury do not immerse the appliance, the cord, or
the plug in water or in other liquid.
6. Check that the power rating of the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker matches that of your
household electrical wiring system.
7. It is essential that the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker is connected to an earthed socket.
8. This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided
they are supervised or have been given suitable instructions concerning the safe use of the
appliance and they understand the hazards involved.
9. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
10. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
11. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
12. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children under 8 years of age; it may
be performed by children over the age of 8 if suitably supervised.
13. Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
14. When cooking is complete, do not touch the induction board as it may still be hot.
15. Allow the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker to cool down before putting anything on top of the
Induction Cooker.
16. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or one which has been found
to malfunction or has been damaged. Return the appliance to a Zepter Service Centre for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
17. Keep the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker clean; avoid any food residues or dirt from getting into
the appliance, as this may cause damage.
18. Extreme caution must be used when moving cookware containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
19. Put the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker on a horizontal and stable counter, and keep it at least
10 cm away from the wall or other objects.
20. The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and/or extension leads is generally not recommended.
If you must use them, make sure that only standard or multiple adaptors and extension leads
that conform to current safety regulations are used.
21. To disconnect the appliance, turn all controls to the OFF setting, before removing the plug from
the wall outlet.
22. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.
23. At the end of the lifetime of the appliance, we recommend making it safe by cutting off the
power cord. Do so only after unplugging it from the power outlet. Do not dispose of the
appliance as ordinary waste; leave it with personnel qualified to collect such material. In this
way it will be properly disposed of and recycled.

1. When the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker is plugged in, you will hear a beep and the
indicator lights flash once. The Multifunctional Display shows 88 : 88 for one second,
followed by a flashing “- - - -”. The power indicator light flashes to indicate that the Zepter
Radio Induction Cooker is off.
2. When the ON/OFF button is pressed for the first time, and
a. no other buttons are pressed - the appliance is in Stand-by Mode. The cooking process
will not start, even if there is cookware on the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker.
b. the POWER BOOST or TEMPERATURE button is pressed within 1 minute - the appliance
is in Active Mode. The Induction Cooker automatically checks if there is cookware on
it. If there is no cookware on the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker, the device beeps, and
the Multifunctional Display shows E1. The Zepter Radio Induction Cooker automatically
exits any function chosen, if no cookware has been placed on it within 1 minute. In this
case, the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker enters the Stand-by Mode.
Otherwise, it will restart when cookware is placed on it within 1 minute.

POWER BOOST
Press the POWER BOOST button while the applliance is in Ac-
tive Mode. The function and ON/OFF indicator lights are on,
and the Multifunctional Display shows the default power level of
1400W for 1 second. There are 8 power levels: 100W, 300W,
600W, 800W, 1000W, 1400W, 1700W and 2000W. Press
the “+” or “–” buttons to select the power level required.
It is generally recommended to set the power to 1000W for
medium size pots, however, for bigger pots, it is advisable to
increase the power to 1400W, in order to speed up the heating
process. The power may also be turned down to 800W for
small pots or pots with low volume of water/food.

TEMPERATURE
Press the TEMPERATURE button while the appliance is in Active
Mode. The function and ON/OFF indicator lights are on, and
the Multifunctional Display shows the default temperature of
240°C. The temperature levels are: 60°C, 90°C, 120°C,
140°C, 160°C, 180°C, 200°C and 240°C, which can be
changed by pressing the “+” and “-” buttons. The Zepter Radio
Induction Cooker stops working when the temperature reaches
the heat preservation temperature. When the temperature falls
down to the heating temperature, the Zepter Radio Induction
Cooker begins working again. When the temperature reaches
the highest point, the “+” button operation becomes inactive.
The “–” button can be pressed to reduce the temperature.
When the temperature reaches the lowest point, the “–” button
operation becomes inactive.
CHILD LOCK
To activate the CHILD LOCK, press and hold the CHILD LOCK
button for 2 seconds. The CHILD LOCK light will illuminate.
The other buttons will not react when pressed (except the ON/
OFF button), unless you press and hold the CHILD LOCK button
again for 2 seconds, until the CHILD LOCK light turns off.
Recommended settings:

8TIMER
When the TIMER button is pressed, the timer indicator light
flashes, prompting the user to set the timer. The timer’s default
setting is 00:00. When the hour digits flash, press the “+” or
“–“ buttons to choose between 0 and 1 hour. Press the TIMER
button again. The minute digits begin to flash, while the hour
digits stop. Use the “+” or “–“ buttons to increase or decrease the
time by one minute increments. When the “+” or “–” buttons are
held for over 2 seconds, the time increases or decreases quickly.
If neither “+”, “–”, nor the TIMER buttons are pressed within 5 se-
conds, the time setting is complete. The timer indicator light illumi-
nates, and the Multifunctional Display shows the remaining time,
with an upper limit of 1 hour 59 minutes. When the set time has
elapsed, the buzzer sounds several times, the corresponding indi-
cator light flashes, and the fan keeps running for a while before
stopping. The indicator light flashes until the power is turned off.
a. In TIMER mode, when the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker
is switched to another function, the previously set time
is cancelled (the indicator light turns off). The Induction
Cooker adopts the default parameters of the chosen function.
b. When the set time has elapsed, press the POWER
BOOST or TEMPERATURE button to check the set power
or temperature on the Multifunctional Display.
The set power or temperature may be changed within
5 seconds by pressing the“+” or “–” buttons.
The Multifunctional Display shows the set time again if
no button is pressed within 5 seconds, or if the TIMER
button is pressed within 5 seconds.
PLATE HOT
When the plate surface temperature is higher than 60˚C, the
PLATE HOT function light illuminates. Press the ON/OFF button
to switch off the Zepter Radio Induction Cooker every time after
the cooking process is finished. Please allow a few minutes for
the fan to stop before unplugging the Zepter Radio Induction
Cooker from the power outlet.
NOTES:
In temperature maintaining conditions, there may be differences
between the nominal temperature and the actual temperature
due to the different shapes and materials of the cookware.
The Zepter Radio Induction Cooker can be used with different
types of cookware. The use of different cookware results in
different heating efficiency.
