3. rill a 25mm (1”) hole through door edge.
4. Note: It is important to drill this hole square.
5. rill a 25mm (1”) spindle hole through door face.

7. rill 4.5mm holes for through bolts. Enlarge first 5mm of through hole to 7.5mm to accept lugs on plates.
8. Remove any loose sawdust and insert latch. Scribe around face, remove, and then chisel out recess to enable
latch to sit flush with door edge.
9. Insert latch and fasten with screws supplied.
10. Gently close door against frame and mark latch position for fitting of strike plate. Router or chisel so plate fits
flush, allowing for plastic recess box if required.

3. Fit mounting plate to door and pass bolts through mounting holes. The mounting bolts will pass through the
latch body and fix into the female side of handle set. Shorten bolts if necessary to suit door thickness. The
overall length of the thru-bolts should be 4-8mm more than door thickness.
4. Install the split spindle with an even amount protruding each side of the door.
Note: When positioning spindle ensure that it will allow the grub screws on the levers to tighten up on grooved face
of Spindle.
5. Fit remaining lever onto mounting plate and fix by tightening grubscrew on bottom of plate
6. Tighten the grub screws on levers onto the spindle each side of door.
Note: The grub screws may need a re-tighten after a bedding-in period. An application of Locktite will prevent grub
screws from loosening off
7. Test door and if necessary adjust strike tongue to take up any rattle.
