Inserting the SIM Card and Battery

1. Lift the atch hand e of the battery cover and turn it to un ock position. Then, open the

cover from the device.

2. (Optional) Users who need phone function need to insta the SIM card provided by

mobi e operator. With the SIM card chip side facing up, insert the card fu y into the

bottom s ot.

3. (Optional) Users who need to extend memory shou d insta the SD card. With the SD

card chip side facing up, insert the card fu y into the upper s ot.

4. The first way to insta the battery is to attach the upper side of the battery to battery

connector and then ower the bottom side to fit into the compartment.

5. Recover the battery cover and secure the atch by turning it to ock position.

Charging the battery

Before beginning

Make sure the battery is correct y insta ed in the device.

1. P ug the DC cord of the AC adapter into the power connector of the device.

2. P ug the fema e end of the AC power cord into the AC adapter and the ma e end into an

e ectrica out et

3. The charge indicator g ows in amber when charging is in progress. Do not disconnect your

device from AC power unti the battery is fu y charged, as indicated by the amber indicator

turning into green. This wi take a coup e of hours.

When the battery charge eve is too ow for operation, the device switches itse f.

Performing the Initial Startup

When turning on your device for the very first time, you wi be guided through a setup

process.

1. Make sure that your device is either connected to AC power or the battery has power.

2. Press the power button to turn on your device.

The back ight of the keypad wi ight up and, after a few seconds, the setup screen

appears.

3. Fo ow the on-screen instructions to comp ete the setup wizard.

4. (Optional) For phone function on y:

If a SIM card has been inserted and the mobi e phone network operator has set

the PIN, you wi be prompted to enter the PIN. Enter the PIN and tap Enter.



If a SIM card has not been inserted yet, a message of an inva id or missing SIM

card wi appear on the screen. You can tap Cance to continue the startup

procedure.

5. After the setup is comp eted, user can now use the device.
