Installation

The luminaire must be installed and maintained by a suit-

ably qualified person in compliance with latest construc-

tion and electrical regulations and relevant legislation.

The given information from the lamp manufacturer about

the correct lamp, operation and maintenance are strictly to

be observed.

The luminaire shall be operated only with complete protec-

tion cover. Replace any broken protection cover.

Claims based on defects attributable to improper

installation, application, operation and/or any modification

carried out by the purchaser or third parties, and the con-

sequences thereof, are excluded.

Montage

Montage und Wartung darf nur von geschultem Fachper-

sonal mit entsprechender beruflicher Qualifikation in Über-

einstimmung mit den neuesten elektrischen Installations-

und Sicherheitsvorschriften durchgeführt werden.

Die Hinweise der Leuchtmittelhersteller der eingesetzten

Lampe für Betrieb und Wartung sind unbedingt zu beachten.

Die Leuchte darf nur mit vollständiger Schutzabdeckung

betrieben werden. Ersetzen Sie jede gebrochene Schutz-

abdeckung.

Reklamationen auf Grund falscher Installation, Anwen-

dung, Betriebes und/oder jegliche Änderungen durch den

Käufer oder einen Dritten und die hierdurch entstehenden

Konsequenzen sind ausgeschlossen.

Lamp Replacement and Maintenance

Do not open luminaire while in operation or while mains

supply is switched on!

1) Switch off the mains electrical supply.

2) Open luminaire. Clean all exterior surfaces, if necessary

by using a wet cloth with mild detergent.

3) Check gasket for damage and replace if necessary.

4) Replace lamp.

5) Close luminaire.

Protect our enviroment: Discard used lamps in compliance

with the most recent environmental legislation.

Lampenwechsel und Wartung

Leuchtengehäuse nicht während des Betriebes öffnen!

1) Spannungsfreiheit der Anschlussleitung herstellen.

2) Abdeckung abklappen und mit geeigneten Reinigungs-

mitteln säubern. Dichtung auf Funktionsfähigkeit über-

prüfen und ggf. austauschen.

3) Lampe wechseln (Lampentyp, -leistung und Sockel

müssen mit den Angaben auf dem Leuchtenleistungs-

schild übereinstimmen) (Abb. 6).

4) Leuchte schließen

Für die Entsorgung der Lampe sind die zur Zeit gültigen

Umweltgesetze zu beachten.

Installation Procedure

HIT-DE 1000W, HIT 400W,

HST 400W-1000W (pic. 1, 2 and 3)

1) Switch off the mains electrical supply.

2) Loosen screws Band take of lid A.

3) Release quarter-turn fastener Cby turning it counter-

clockwise. Remove gear tray D. Detach male side of

terminal connector E.

4) Prepare enough cable to extend between luminaire

and column base. Feed cable through cable gland F.

Connect the mains supply leads to their respective

terminals in the terminal connector E(N = neutral,

L1 = phase, = earthing). Check that rating shown

on the luminaire lable conforms with the mains

electrical supply.

5) Tighten cable gland Ffirmly.

6) Match male to female side of terminal connector E.

Reposition gear tray D, and secure in position by

turning quarter-turn fastener Cclockwise until it

clicks into place.

7) Close lid Aand firmly tighten screws B.

8) Open shutter Gand also open frame H. Fit in the

appropriate lampe by inserting it firmly into the

lampholder (pic. 6).

9) Close frame and lock shutter G.

10) Employ mounting stirrup Ito mount luminaire to a wall,

column, bracket or other structure. Secure in position

by two M12 stainless steel bolts and self locking nuts.

Vorgehensweise

HIT-DE 1000W, HIT 400W,

HST 400W-1000W (Abb. 1, 2 und 3)

1) Spannungsfreiheit der Anschlussleitung herstellen.

2) Deckel Adurch Lösen der Schrauben Böffnen.

3) Drehverschluss Centriegeln, Gerätechassis Dab-

klappen, Steckverbindung Etrennen und Gerätechassis

aushängen.

4) Entsprechend der Masthöhe zugeschnittene Anschluss-

leitung durch die Kabelverschraubung Feinführen.

Nulleiter (N), Phase (L1) und Schutzleiter an die ent-

sprechend markierten Kontakte des Steckverbinders E

anschließen. Vergleichen Sie die örtliche Spannung

und Frequenz mit den Daten auf dem Leistungsschild.

5) Kabelverschraubung Ffestziehen.

6) Gerätechassis einhängen, Steckverbindung schließen,

Gerätechassis einklappen und verriegeln.

7) Deckel Aschließen, und die Schrauben Bfest anziehen.

8) Den Verschluss Göffnen und den Rahmen Haufklap-

pen. Setzen Sie ausschließlich den auf dem

Leistungsschild angegebenen Lampentyp ein (Abb. 6).

9) Den Rahmen zuklappen und den Verschluss verriegeln.

10) Die Befestigung des Scheinwerfers am Mast hängt ab

vom Typ der gewählten Traverse. Stellen Sie sicher,

dass der Scheinwerfer mit zwei M12 Schrauben und

selbstsichernden Muttern aus nichtrostendem Stahl an

der Traverse befestigt wird.

Vorgehensweise HIT-DE 2000W

(siehe Abb. 4 und 5)

1) Spannungsfreiheit der Anschlussleitung herstellen.

2) Deckel Adurch Lösen der Schrauben Böffnen.

3) Der Scheinwerfer für die Lampe HIT-DE 2000W benö-

tigt zwingend ein separates Betriebsgerät. Der Betrieb

ohne Betriebsgerät führt zu irreparablen Schäden am

Leuchtmittel. Verwenden Sie nur geeignete Betriebs-

geräte (siehe Zubehör).

Entsprechend der Masthöhe zugeschnittene Anschluss-

leitung in die Zündgerätebox einführen und gemäß

Schaltbild 1 anschließen.

4) Deckel Averschließen, die Schrauben Bfest anziehen.

5) Den Verschluss Göffnen und den Rahmen Hauf-

klappen. Setzen Sie ausschließlich den auf dem

Leistungsschild angegebenen Lampentyp ein (Abb. 6).

6) Den Rahmen zuklappen und den Verschluss verriegeln.

7) Befestigen Sie die Zündgerätebox Lmit den beige-

fügten Schrauben am Bügel I.

8) Die Befestigung des Scheinwerfers am Mast hängt ab

vom Typ der gewählten Traverse. Stellen Sie sicher,

dass der Scheinwerfer mit zwei M12 Schrauben und

selbstsichernden Muttern aus nichtrostendem Stahl an

der Traverse befestigt wird.

Installation Procedure HIT-DE 2000W

1) Switch off the mains electrical supply.

2) Loosen screws Band take of lid A.

3 The luminaire for use of HIT-DE 2000W requires a

separate operating device. The operation without a

separate operating device leads to irreparable damage

of the lamp. Only use suitable operating devices (see

accessory). Prepare enough cable to extend between

luminaire and column base. Feed cable inside ignition

box and connect according to circuit diagram 1.

4) Close lid Aand firmly tighten screws B.

5) Open shutter Gand also open frame H. Fit in the

appropriate lampe by inserting it firmly into the

lampholder (pic. 6).

6) Close frame and lock shutter G.

7) Fix the ignitor box Lby using the supplied fasteners to

the mounting stirrup I.

8) Employ mounting stirrup Ito mount luminaire to a wall,

column, bracket or other structure. Secure in position

by two M12 stainless steel bolts and self locking nuts.
