GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The following instructions must be considered as an integral component
of this product, and the installer person must take care to abide by
them, and be sure that this manual is kept and its instructions respected
for further manipulations of the product.
The manufacturer, Systemair, stress the point of his request, that the
product must be installed by a qualified person.
Always remember that wrong installation might cause important
troubles or damages to people, animals or objects, in which case,
Systemair would not accept claims or responsibilities for such damages,
if the instructions of this manual are not respected.
Once the product is unwrapped, make sure that it is in good shape. If
you are not sure of it, please contact the supplier.
All packing elements, palettes, plastics, staples, etc, must be thrown to
the corresponding recycling binds, and in case of not possibility, to
insure that they are not leave at random, since these elements are a
potential source of danger, and always bearing in mind to harm as less
as possible the natural environment.
When proceed for a cleaning or maintenance operation, the product
must be disconnected from the electric supply.
Never block the inlet or outlet, and protect both from involuntary
contact, and do the same with the shaft(s), pulley(s), belt(s), and rest
of turning/moving components. Systemair has a wide range of
protection articles for these purposes, and you are invited to consult
them in our catalogue (www.systemair.com).
In case any damage or bad function of the product happens, do not try
direct repair or manipulation, and contact the supplier. The not
compliance of this rule means the loss of the product guarantee.

When it is decided the life product is finished, all components or the
product itself, susceptible of being dangerous, must be recycled of
destroyed, always taken into account to damage as less as possible the
environment.
This product must be used only for the purpose it has been designed,
and therefore it must be considered unsuitable or dangerous for any
other purpose.
Mistakes in the installation or use of the product, will be considered as
not compliance of the indications of the manufacturer, and therefore
Systemair will not accept any claim or responsibility for this.
INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The maximum R.P.M indicated on the technical label of the product
must never be exceeded. If not, the product can cause harm to people,
animals or objects, and the manufacturer will not accept responsibility
for this.
Previous check
This product left the manufacturer premises in perfect working
conditions.
However, check it before installation, because damages could have
occurred while it was transported.
Pulleys
Take care that pulleys are perfectly aligned with each other, and in
perfect perpendicularity with the shaft where it is mounted.
Belts
It must be tightened to the V-belt manufacturer recommended
specifications.

Check control of the product components
Make the shaft(s) turning by hand and make sure they turn freely.
Clean the product before installation.
Check that motor(s) turn on the right direction.
Maintenance
Check always the product before putting it at work, and after having
remained at stand still for a long period of time.
Check all bearings once a month, and if necessary, apply the suitable
grease.
Revise the belt(s) tightened once a month.
Revise the fan impeller and housing once a month.
Bearings
Bearings of the different components on this product are already
lubricated, and therefore the must not be lubricated before the first
installation of the product. Under normal working conditions, bearings
must be lubricated after 20.000 working hours or 2 years, wathever is
first, and for lubrication, it must be used Lithium based grease with the
specifications Type K3K-30 DIN 51825 and consistency NLGI-3. Bearings
must not be removed from their housing for lubrication purposes.
ATTENTION
All products equipped with electric and moving rotors with IP protection
degree (CEI Standard) must be kept out of people reaching, and in case
of need protected by the necessary elements. Systemair manufactures a

Installation of the product, must be done according to the rules applying
in each country.

GENERAL RULES REGARDING THE ELECTRIC SUPPLY TO THE PRODUCT
According to the safety rules, products using electricity must be
connected to an efficient ground electric gateaway. In case of doubt ask
for a deep electric installation check and be sure that it is carried out by
a qualified person. The manufacturer of this product will not accept any
claim for damages caused by the lack of a ground wire in the
installation.
Check that the electric installation is the right one according to the
maximum product electric input, and make sure that the wire section of
the installation is suitable for the product electric input.
According to the safety rules, an unipolar switch is required for
connection to the electric supply.
When using products consuming electric energy, it is obligatory to
respect the following fundamental rules:
Do not touch the product when part of the body is humid or wet, or
when bare feet.
Do not pull from the electric wires.
Avoid the product exposure to atmospheric agents (snow, rain, sun,
etc).
Never allow the product manipulation by unqualified persons.
The person(s) installing this product must make sure that once it will be
at work, this complies with the following directives:
Low voltage directive (2006/95/EC and EC/93/68).
Machinery directive (2006/42/EC).
Electromagnetic compatibility directive (2004/108/EC).
