1 INTRODUCTION
T is document describes t e basic ardware components of t e Remote Access Gateway
IGW/910.
1.1 Safety Guidelines
Please read the following safety guidelines carefully! In case of property or personal
damage by not paying attention to this manual and/or by incorrect handling, we do not
assume liability. In such cases any warranty claim expires.
•T e power supply s ould be in immediate proximity to t e device.
•T e power supply must provide a stable output voltage at 12..24 VDC ±10%. T e
output power s ould be at least 7 W.
•Please pay attention t at t e power cord or ot er cables are not squeezed or dam-
aged in any way w en you set up t e device.
•Do NOT turn on t e power supply w ile connecting any cables, especially t e pow-
er cables. T is could cause damaged device components! First connect t e cables
and THEN turn t e power supply on.
•T e installation of t e device s ould be done only by qualified personnel.
•Disc arge yourself electrostatic before you work wit t e device, e.g. by touc ing a
eater of metal, to avoid damages.
•Stay grounded w ile working wit t e device to avoid damage t roug electrostat-
ic disc arge.
•T e case of t e device s ould be opened only by qualified personnel.
