Purpose of this manual This manual is the installation and maintenance manual of MSU Upgrade Unit

BKP-7934 for Master Setup Unit MSU-700.

This manual is intended for use by trained system and service engineers, and

provides the installation and maintenance information that premise the service based

on the component parts.

Installation

1-1. Installing BKP-7934

1. Remove four screws (B3 x5) and two screws (PSW3 x6), and remove the bottom chassis.

2. Disconnect eleven connectors (CN1 through CN11) and remove seven screws (PWH3 x5), and then

remove the CPU-171 board.

Removing and installing procedures of the flexible card wire, refer to “2-3. Description on Flexible Card

Wire.”

3. Install a BKP-7934 (CPU-293 board) in the reverse procedures of removal.
