selectable charging caracteristics depending on battery model,

symmetry monitoring,

automatic battery load test,

temperature compensation for battery charging voltage via external temperature sen-

sor.

a) Battery operation and symmetry monitoring

b) Battery operation without symmetry monitoring

c) Operation with external voltage (instead of battery)

d) Operation without battery or external voltage

Choice of earth according to equipment supplied,

– earth-free,

– positive to earth,

– negative to earth (not recommended).

Additional surge protectors are only required in special cases e.g. where there is a partic-

ular lightning hazard, overhead power lines etc. (see Z3I04, Z3I121).

The mains feeder must have an own and clear labelled fuse up to 10A.

B2F020 and all E3C021 must be installed in the same housing (or in permanently joined

housings).

Batteries larger then 40Ah per E3C021 are not possible, if the recharging of a discharged

battery must be carried out according to regulations (to 80% capacity within 24h).
