This informaon is intended for end users.
The target group comprises all persons who carry out
the following acvies:
• operaon and maintenance of KFV products
• operaon and maintenance of installed door ele-
ments that are equipped with KFV products.
1.2
The AS 2750 is a key-operated, three-latch mul-point
lock with hook bolt in the auxiliary box for the locking
of doors.
These operang instrucons are an integral part of the
AS 2750 and must be accessible to the target group all
the me.

2 Safety
2.1
The following persons may only operate the product if
they have understood the dangers involved in handling
the product or if they are supervised during operaon:
• children
• persons with diminished physical, sensory or mental
capabilies
• persons with a lack of experience and knowledge.

• AS 2750 is a key-operated, three-latch mul-point
lock with hook bolt in the auxiliary box for the lock-
ing of doors.
• AS 2750 is suitable for installaon in entrance doors
made of mber, aluminium, steel or PVC.
• AS 2750 is suitable for installaon in single-sash and
double-sash doors in permanent buildings.
• Only use AS 2750 with KFV accessories.
• Only use AS 2750 when it is in technically sound
condion.
• Do not use AS 2750 for escape doors.
• Only install AS 2750 according to the assembly in-
strucons and only operate within the scope of the
technical limits.
• Only use AS 2750 according to the operang instruc-
ons.

• Ensure that the locking elements are in the release
posion.
• Mul-point locks are sensive construcon ele-
ments. Treat the mul-point lock with care and do
not throw it, strike it hard or bend it.
2.4
The warning notes in these instrucons
• when observed, provide protecon against potenal
personal injury and material damage,
• classify the level of danger by the signal word,
• designate the danger of personal injury via the
hazard sign,
• dene the type and source of danger,
• show measures to prevent danger and prohibit
specic behaviour.
The warning notes are set up according to the following
principle:
explanaon of the type and source of danger
• measures for the prevenon of the danger
the hazard sign designates warning noces that warn
of personal injury.
The type and source of the danger denes the cause of
the hazard. The potenal consequences of non-obser-
vaon of warning noces are e.g. danger to life due to
electric shock.
Under measures, acons are listed that must be carried
out for the prevenon of hazards or which are prohibit-
ed for the prevenon of a hazard.
2.5
The signal word "Danger" designates an immediately
threatening danger. If this danger is not prevented, it
leads to death or severe injuries.
The signal word "Warning" designates a potenal
danger. If this danger is not prevented, it could lead to
death or severe injuries.
The signal word "Cauon" designates a potenally
hazardous situaon. If this hazardous situaon is not
prevented, it could lead to minor or moderate injuries.
The signal word "Noce" denes acons for the pre-
venon of material damage. The observaon of these
notes prevents damage to the components.

2.6 Foreseeable improper use
The main lock of the mul-point lock could be dam-
aged if you drill through the door leaf in the area of
the gear box.
• Do not drill into the door leaf in the area of the
gear box.
The main lock of the mul-point lock could be
damaged if the square spindle of the lever handle is
knocked through the locking groove by force.
• Do not knock the square spindle of the lever han-
dle into the locking groove with a tool (e. g. with a
hammer) using excessive force.
The door leaf must not be carried using the lever
handle as a grip.
• Use suitable aids to transport the door leaf.
The lock can be damaged if the locking elements are
in the locking posion when the door is open.
• Bring the locking elements into the release posi-
on with the door open.
The lock could be damaged if the lever handle is not
loaded in the normal direcon of rotaon and loads
of more than 150 N are applied to the lever handle
in the direcon of acvaon or if the lock is acvat-
ed with foreign objects.
• Only load the lever handle in the normal direcon
of rotaon and do not apply loads of more than
150 N in the direcon of acvaon and only lock
the lock or mul-point lock with the pernent key.

The main lock can be damaged if the lever handle
and key are operated at the same me.
• Never acvate the key and the lever handle simul-
taneously.
The mul-point lock of double-sash doors could be
damaged
by forcing the inacve sash open.
• Double-sash doors must not be forced open using
the inacve sash.
The funcon is impaired if the mul-point lock is
painted.
• Do not paint the mul-point lock
The funcon of the mul-point lock can be impaired
if indicaons of the use of force are detected.
• Replace the mul-point lock

The mul-point lock is equipped with two auxiliary boxes 1 of which each is equipped with two spring mounted
so lock latches. The mul-point lock is oponally available with a pre-mounted safety lock 2.

The main lock of the mul-point lock can be dam-
aged if the lever handle and key are operated at the
same me.
• Do not operated the key and the lever handle at
the same me.

The latches [1] keeps the door
closed in the released condion.
When the door is closed, they
engage in the replacement part
(main lock latch) [2] or in the
Q-adjustment (latches of the ZSK)
[3]. The lever handle [4] is acvated
or the key [5] turned in the release
direcon up to the stop to open the
door.

During the closing process, the
main lock latch [1] is pushed
inwards via its inclined side on con-
tact with the stop piece [2].
When the door is closed, the latch
moves behind the stop piece in
the door frame and holds the door
securely closed.
