When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always
be followed. Read all instructions before using this appliance.
Warnings
To reduce the risk of electric shock:
•Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
•Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
Unplug immediately.
•Do not use while bathing or in the shower.
•Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub or sink.
•Do not place or drop into water or other liquid.
•Connect appliance to a properly grounded outlet.
(See Grounding Instructions.)
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury:
•Appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before putting on or
taking off attachments.

•To disconnect, turn all controls to OFF, then remove plug
from outlet.
•Do not attempt to plug or unplug unit while feet are in water.
•Do not operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating
can occur and cause fire, electric shock or injury.
•Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on
or near children and physically challenged or disabled persons.
•Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in
this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
manufacturer.
•Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug,
is not working properly, has been dropped or damaged or
dropped in water. Return appliance to a service center for
examination and repair.
•Do not carry appliance by supply cord or use cord as a handle.
•Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
•Never operate appliance with the air openings blocked.
Keep air openings free of lint, hair and other debris.

•Never operate on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch,
where air openings may be blocked.
•Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
•Do not use outdoors.
•Do not operate while sleeping or drowsy.
•Always unplug when filling or moving the unit.
•Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being
used or where oxygen is being administered.
•Do not stand on or in the Massaging Foot Spa. Use only while
seated. Place feet in massager and remove feet from massager
only when in a seated position.
•Use heated surface carefully as it may cause serious burns. Do
not use on sensitive skin areas or where there is poor circulation.
•Generally, this unit should be used no longer than 30 minutes
at a time. Extensive use may cause the unit to overheat. Should
this occur, discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before
resuming operation.

•The Massaging Foot Spa should not be used in the following
cases without consulting a physician: tuberculosis, benign
or malignant tumors, hemorrhages, inflammations of the
skin, phlebitis and thrombosis, open or fresh wounds,
bruises, broken skin or varicose veins, undetermined calf
pain or joint pain.
•Consult a physician if you have any questions regarding thera-
peutic use of this product. Do not use before consulting your
physician if you are experiencing unexplained pain or swollen
muscles or have had a serious muscular injury.
•Keep away from children.
•Discontinue use of the Massaging Foot Spa if pain increases
or swelling occurs after use.
•If you are using a pacemaker or if you are pregnant, please
consult a physician before using.
•This appliance is designed only for personal, non-professional use.

Unit must be grounded. If it malfunctions or breaks down,
grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current
to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product’s cord features
an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an appropriate three-prong outlet that
is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances.
Danger
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can
result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electri-
cian or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product
is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided. If plug
will not fit into an outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a
qualified electrician.
This product is for use on a nominal 120V circuit and has a
three-prong grounding plug as shown in Figure A. A temporary
adapter, as shown in Figure B, may be used to connect this plug
to a two-prong receptacle if a properly grounded outlet is not

available. The temporary adapter should only be used until a
qualified electrician can install a properly grounded outlet (Figure
C). The green colored tab extending from the adapter must be
connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded
outlet box cover. Whenever the adapter is used, it must be held
in place by a metal screw (Figures D & E).
Note: Temporary adapters, such as the type mentioned above,
cannot be used in Canada.
