REMOVABLE FIN
Fittin of the fin is recommended whenever you use your kayak in deep water (lake, sea, etc.), where it helps keep the
kayak in a strai ht line. Fittin of the fin is not recommended for use in shallow water or white water. The fin would be
likely to dama e the bottom of the kayak in shallow water and would reduce manoeuvrability in white water. The bow and
stern lines of the kayak have been desi ned to ensure ood handlin without the fin.
ADJUSTABLE INFLATABLE BUCKET SEATS
The bucket seat can be adjusted to meet your needs. Adjust the belt len ths usin the buckles at each end. You can also
adjust the position of the seat by movin it in the raised area; the raised area and the lower part of the seat have Velcro
strips for easy adjustment.
DRAINAGE SYSTEM
Your kayak is equipped with a draina e system at the back. The system comprises one orifice with plu s; it prevents the
lower part of the body ettin wet when the kayak is used in calm water. It may be a little difficult to insert the plu in a
drain orifice. The ti ht fit retains the plu until it is removed, for example when the kayak is to be used in white water.
The self-drainin bottom is a considerable advanta e in white water: it allows rapid removal of water from inside the kayak
and thus improves its performance; it is also an additional safety feature, as a kayak filled with water is difficult to
manoeuvre.
Note: Before inflatin your kayak, you can either close the draina e orifice(s) to stay dry, or open it/them to allow water
draina e.

MAINTENANCE: DEFLATING – CLEANING - FOLDING – STORAGE
1. Remove oars/paddles and other accessories.
2. To deflate, unscrew the valve insert and open the valve(s) cap.
3. Clean and check the item as well as all the accessories after each use. Rinse it thorou hly makin sure to remove any
residues of salt if used in salt water. Use a mild soapy solution, do not use deter ents or any type of silicone-based

4. Fold the sides into the middle, then roll it up from the opposite end of the valves (so remainin air can escape from the
valves); start a ain if you feel there is still some air in the tubes.
5. When fully deflated, close the plu .
6. When storin your inflatable, keep it in a clean and dry place that is not affected from major variations in temperature
and other dama in factors. You may store it deflated and rolled up in a ba or assembled and li htly inflated. Store it
away from rodents.
WARNING!
Water will enter between the outer hull and inside chambers, this is O.K; however, whenever you take this item
out of the water and deflate it, allow for it to air out and dry, neither the skin/hull or the inside chambers will
suffer from water damage, but stagnant water could cause mildew and foul odor.
