ASEPT.2X TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Procedure

Before touching any electrical components located in the ASEPT.2X housing, always turn off the unit and

disconnect from the power outlet.

1. The unit does

1.1 Is the unit plugged

into an electrical outlet?

voltmeter on the power cord

Plug the device into an

appropriate electrical

outlet.

Contact

SANUVOX

(replace the

power cord).

Push on the rocker

switch for the ON

position.

With an electrician,

find the problem’s

source.

1.6 Are the Start/Stop

buttons connected

tightly to the PLC?

Push back the

wires in their

sockets.

Push back the circuit

breaker

(red indicator).

1.7 Is the PLC

connected tightly to

the power supply?

Contact SANUVOX

(LEDs, PLC).

1. THE UNIT DOESN’T WORK.

1.1 Check if the unit is plugged to a functioning electrical source.

1.2 Check if the power button under the unit is switched ON.

1.3 Check if the power source is functional. It requires that you plug any other electrical

appliance in the outlet e.g. a corded lamp. If the appliance doesn’t work, have the wall

outlet checked by a qualified electrician.

1.4 Open up the two (2) front panels. The first access panel bares the ASEPT.2X blue decal. The

second access panel is the second to the left of the first one.

1.4.1 Tools required:

-One 4 mm Allen key.

-One PHILIPS #3 screwdriver.

1.4.2 Disconnect the power from the unit then carefully lower the unit on its side to

unscrew the panels from the underneath mounting plate.

1.4.3 Using the PHILIPS #3 screwdriver, remove and put aside the 4 screws and the 4

washers for the two access panels.

1.4.4 Using the 4mm Allen key, remove and put aside the top 4 screws and 4 washers for

the two access panels.

1.4.5 Remove the panels and put back the unit vertically on its wheels. Use the ALLEN key

for extra help to remove panels. Plug in the unit and turn ON the power switch.
