INSTALLING THE DRIVER SOFTWARE

Installing the driver software

To install the drivers for Windows 98 / Windows 98 SE / Windows 2000 Prof. / Windows,

proceed as follows:

1Insert the installation CD-ROM into your CD-

ROM drive.

Double-click on the Setup icon.

The Setup dialog box appears. Please wait.

When the “Welcome” dialog appears,

click [Next].

When the Software License Agreement box

appears, read it carefully and decide what to

do:

[Back]: to preceding box.

[Yes]: to accept.

[No]: to reject and exit.

When the Start Copying Files box appears,

select:

[Next]: to start installation.

[Back]: to go back to the previous dialog box.

[Cancel]: to exit.

When the Setup Complete box appears, click

[Finish] to complete installation.

INSTALLING THE DRIVER SOFTWARE

The following steps apply equally to OS 8.6 and OS.9

Choose the appropriate driver for your

system.

Start the installation program by double-

clicking.

When the Welcome box appears, click

[Continue].

INSTALLING THE DRIVER SOFTWARE

To start installation, click [Install].

Read the warnings, then click on [Continue].

If necessary, you may quit the program by clicking

[Cancel].

INSTALLING THE DRIVER SOFTWARE

Installation has been completed successfully.

To initial the newly installed software, restart your

computer (suggested) or click [Continue] if you

wish to continue installing.

Please take the detailed manual from the Acrobat Reader file on the

software CD.
