LegislativeDecree494/96forallthatwhichconcernsindividualsafety.
▪ Beforeuse,checkthatalltemporarystructures(scaffolding,ladders,etc.)andallindividualsafetygear(har-
nesses,belts,etc.)arecompliantwithstandardsandingoodcondition.
▪ Alwaysusesuitableindividualprotectiongear.
▪ Ifthereismorethanoneinstallationtechnician,theirworkmustbecoordinated.
▪ Operatorsmustworkincompliancewiththesafetyinstructionsgiventothem.
▪ Iftheawningistobeinstalledabovegroundlevel,theareaunderneaththeawningmustbemarkedoffand
guardedsothatnoonecangetunderneaththehangingload.
▪ Firmlytietheropesorstrapsaroundthepre-assembledparts,sothatthecomponentsdonotslipandriskfalling.
▪ Installationandspecialmaintenancemustbecarriedoutinaplacethatissufcientlyilluminated(basedon
specicstandards)byeithernaturalorarticiallighting.Theoperatormusthaveaclearviewoftheworkto
beperformed,andhemustalsopreventthirdpersonsfromapproachingtheworkareaaroundtheawning.
