We would like to thank you for your confidence and we congratu-
late you on your choice.
1. Instructions or use
Horizon allows you to insert your automatic watch into its rotating
winding case, ensuring a perfectly smooth winding. The program
covers the majority of automatic watch models on the market.
1.2 Characteristics
• Very silent Swiss engine.
• Ergonomic bracelet support, covered with fine leather, easy
to use.
• Alternating program in both directions, left and right.
4 x 6 hour cycle per day, rotation speed being set at approxima-
tely 4 rotations per minute.
• Power supply by electricity (220 Volt) or battery (2AA)

2 Getting started
2.1 Positioning o the watch winder:
When in use, Horizon has to be placed on a stable support .

2.2 Starting the device
The watch winder can be started by pushing the «on/off» button.

2.3 Inserting your watch
Our bracelet supports are designed to fit your watch perfectly. They
are designed to enable easy insertion.

Place your watch on the right support (size L or M) and insert it into
the watch winder. Make sure the support is fixed correctly.

4. Li e cycle and replacement o batteries
Horizon watch winder has been designed to be very economic in
energy consumption and thus assure you the greatest longevity
possible with two batteries.

To change the batteries, according to the picture, unscrew the cover
and insert AA alkaline 1.5Volt batteries.
Make sure the batteries are positioned correctly, otherwise the de-
vice may deteriorate.

5. Maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting
Your watch winder does not need any particular maintenance. Ho-
wever, we recommend to clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth
(microfibre). No cleaning product is needed.
Warranty Simply take your watch winder back to the point of sale,
together with your invoice. For more information, please refer to
Warranty (§8 of this manual). We guarantee repair or replace-
ment of your watch winder within the shortest possible time.

6. Precautions o use
In order to avoid any problems that could deteriorate your watch
winder, please make sure to follow the following instructions ca-
refully.
1) Please use your Horizon only to the use for which it has been
designed in the position as described in this manual, on a flat
and stable support.
2) Do not expose your watch winder to humidity, water, strong
heat (such as heating, direct sunlight, etc...) to vibrations, sand,
dust, as well as strong light.
3) Keep your watch winder out of the reach of children.
4) Horizon watch winder was designed for an ideal functioning
between 10°C and 40°C.
5) Make sure to insert the batteries according to the corresponding
+/- signs.
7. Disposal and recycling
Thank you for taking back your Horizon either to an appropriate
disposal point for electric and electronic material and batteries, your

waste disposal point or to your authorized point of sale. Please
make sure to remove the batteries beforehand and dispose of them
through the appropriate channel.
8. Warranty and conditions
2 years warranty, as of the date of purchase, for all manufactu-
ring defects in or functioning. Repair or replacement against proof
of purchase at any of our authorized points of sale.
The following are except from warranty
• damage that can be attributed to normal use of the product
(such as scratches, marks, etc…)
• damage caused by wrong handling of the device, other than the
one described in this manual and non-observation of the precau-
tions of use and these instructions (exposal to humidity, water,
temperatures other than those recommended, wrong insertion
of batteries, non-respect of the type of batteries, wrong mani-
pulation of the winding case, break, etc…).

9. Jurisdiction and disclaimer
The place of jurisdiction is Lausanne, Switzerland. In case of litiga-
tion, only the court of Lausanne is competent.
Under no circumstances can RDI-Charles Kaeser be held responsible
for damage caused by inappropriate use, a programming error or
other damage to the watches, other goods or individuals.
