and batter es.
•Th s product s spec ally des gned for PCs and t s not recommended for use n any med cal
equ pment, l fe-support ng system and other spec f c mportant equ pment.
•Do not plug household appl ances such as ha r dryers, m crowave ovens or vacuum cleaners to UPS.
•Do not attach a power str p or surge suppressor to the UPS.
•Do not plug the UPS nto ts own output.
•Connect on to any other type of receptable other than two-pole, three-w re grounded receptacle
may result n shock hazard as well as v olate local electr cal codes.
•To reduce r sk of overheat ng the UPS, do not cover the UPS´ cool ng vents.
•Th s un t ntended for nstallat on n a controlled env ronment (temperature controlled, ndoor area
free of conduct ve contam nants). Avo d nstall ng the UPS n locat ons where there s stand ng or
runn ng water or excess ve hum d ty and do not use t n any of the follow ng env ronments:
oAny area w th combust ble gas, corros ve substance or heavy dust.
oAny area w th extraord nar ly h gh or low temperature (above 40˚C or below 0˚C) and
hum d ty of more than 90%.
oAny area exposed to d rect sunsh ne or near any heat ng apparatus.
oAny area w th ser ous v brat ons.
oOutdoor.
•The ut l ty power outlet shall be near the equ pment and eas ly access ble. In the event of an
emergency, press OFF button and d sconnect the power cord from the AC power supply to properly
d sable the UPS.
•The nternal short c rcu t ng of the UPS w ll lead to dangers such as electr c shock or f re; therefore
do not allow l qu ds or any fore gn object to enter the UPS. No water conta ners (such as a water
glass) or any other l qu d-conta n ng vessels shall be placed on the top of the UPS so as to avo d such
dangers as electr c shock.
•Please do not use the UPS n excess of the rated load capac ty.
•Unplug the UPS pr or to clean ng and do not use l qu d or spray detergent.
•R sk of electr c shock, do not attempt to d sassemble the un t. No user serv ceable parts ns de. Refer
serv c ng to qual f ed serv ce personnel.
•If UPS s to be stored for a long t me, t s recommended to recharge the batter es (by connect ng the
ut l ty power to UPS, sw tch “ON”), once a month for 24 hours to avo d a full battery d scharge.
•In case smoke s found com ng out from the dev ce, please cut off the power supply qu ckly and
contact the d str butor.
