CAUTION:

attempt

remove

the

lamp

immediately

after

use;

doing

can

cause

serious

burns.

Prior

removing

lamp,

switch

off

the

power

supply

the

television

and

wait

approximately

minutes

allow

for

complete

lamp

cooling.

Avoid

touching

the

glass

portion(s)

lamp

with

bare

hands;

fingerprints,

dirt

and

dust

may

cause

early

lamp

failure

and/or

image

obscurity.

gloves

worn

when

replacing

the

lamp.

When

transporting

the

replacement

lamp,

use

the

box

that

provided

avoid

breakage.

that

the

replacement

lamp

mounted

securely.

Locate

the

lamp

unit

access

door

and

review

the

listed

precautions.

Loosen

(but

not

remove)

the

screw

located

the

door.

Press

the

catch

tabs

remove

the

entire

lamp

access

door.

One

catch

tab

located

above

the

loosened

screw,

the

other

below.

Remove

the

door

and

place

the

side.

Using

screwdriver,

loosen

(but

not

remove)

the

two

screws

the

lamp

unit.

Remove

the

lamp

unit

from

the

television

grasping

the

handles

and

pulling

straight

out.

Slowly

remove

the

entire

lamp

assen^ly

unit

from

the

television.

Dispose

lamp

accordance

with

disposal

laws.

Note:

avoid

injury,

exercise

caution

when

removing

the

lamp

unit

and

not

place

your

hand

the

lamp

storage

area.

Insert

the

new

lamp

unit,

paying

attention

the

orientation

and

direction

insertion.

Ensure

that

the

new

unit

firmly

seated.

Note:

avoid

shortened

lamp

life

and/or

reduced

picture

quality,

not

touch

the

glass

portion

the

new

lamp.

Tighten

the

two

screws

firmly

the

new

lamp

unit,

taking

care

not

overtighten.

Replace

the

lamp

access

door.

First,

insert

the

catch

tabs

into

the

slots

the

left

side

the

lamp

access

compartment.

Press

the

door

until

fully

closed

and

the

latches

are

engaged.

Tighten

the

screw

using

screwdriver.

[Note:

Ensure

that

the

lamp

access

door

attached

securely.

not,

the

protective

circuit

will

activated

and

the

power

will

not

turn

on.]

Plug

the

power

cord

into

the

back

the

television

first,

then

back

into

the

wall

outlet

strip.
