1 Verwendungszweck
Das Ottobock Einlegrahmen-Set 757Z184=1 / 757Z190=1 ist ausschließ-
lich zum Einbau in eine Armprothese zu verwenden.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
• Achten Sie darauf, dass weder feste Teilchen noch Flüssigkeit in
das Einlegrahmen-Set eindringen können.
•
Das Einlegrahmen-Set sollte keinem intensiven Rauch oder Staub,
keinen mechanischen Vibrationen oder Stößen und keiner großen
Hitze ausgesetzt werden.

4 Einbauanleitung
4.1 Einbau in den Gießharzschaft
Den Innenschaft in bekannter Technologie anfertigen, aufschäumen, und
den Schaum vorschleifen.
Gießschablone so tief in den Hartschaum einlassen, dass die Prolkante
mindestens 2 mm herausragt.
Achtung! Die Fläche unter der Gießschablone muss plan sein.

Durch Einsatz von Plastilin im Bereich der Gießschablone einen Prolver-
lauf zum Schaftpositiv modellieren. Nicht die Kanten der Gießschablone
beschädigen (Abb. 2).
PVA-Folie überziehen und den Außenschaft wie üblich laminieren.
Nach dem Aushärten die sichtbare Prolkante der Gießschablone plan frei-
schleifen (Abb. 3).
Die Flächen links und rechts vom mittleren Steg der Gießschablone frei-
schneiden (Abb. 4) und die Gießschablone mit einer Zange entfernen
(Abb. 5).
In den Einlegrahmen den Distanzeinsatz einsetzen (Abb. 6) und im Schaft so
einbauen, dass der Rasteinsatz proximal positioniert ist. Anschließend den
Einlegrahmen mit Siegelharz festkleben.
Achtung! In der Nähe des Rasteinsatzes Siegelharz vorsichtig
anwenden (Abb. 7).
Nach dem Aushärten den Distanzeinsatz entfernen und das Akku-An-
schlusskabel 13E188=* im Einlegrahmen montieren (Abb. 8).
4.2 Einbau in den Unterarm eines Ottobock Ellbogenpassteiles
Mit Hilfe der Folienschablone den Einlegrahmen positionieren.
Achtung! Bei einem Ellbogenpassteil mit AFB-Beugehilfe die Min-
destdistanz Ellbogengelenk – Einlegrahmen von 103 mm beachten
bzw. Kollision mit einem Elektro-Dreheinsatz vermeiden (Abb. 9).
Innerhalb des Rahmens der Folienschablone vier Löcher bohren und den
Platz für den Einlegrahmen aussägen (Abb. 10).
In den Einlegrahmen den Distanzeinsatz einsetzen (Abb. 6) und im Schaft so
einbauen, dass der Rasteinsatz proximal positioniert ist. Anschließend den
Einlegrahmen mit Siegelharz festkleben.
Achtung! In der Nähe des Rasteinsatzes Siegelharz vorsichtig
anwenden (Abb. 7).
Nach dem Aushärten den Distanzeinsatz entfernen und das Akku-An-
schlusskabel 13E188=* im Einlegrahmen montieren (Abb. 8).

1 Application
The 757Z184=1 / 757Z190=1 Ottobock Battery Mounting Set is to be used
solely for installation into an arm prosthesis.
2 Safety Tips
• Do not allow foreign particles or liquids to get into the Ottobock
Battery Mounting Set.
• The Ottobock Battery Mounting Set should not be subjected to
intense smoke, dust, mechanical vibrations, shocks or high tem-
peratures.

4 Installation Instructions
4.1 Installing into a Laminated Socket
Fabricate the inner socket as usual, enclose the socket with foam and
rough-grind the foam.
Set the lamination pattern into the rigid foam, making sure the edge extends
out of the foam by at least 2 mm.
Attention! The surface below the lamination dummy must be
ush.
Create a contoured edge on the socket by applying Plastilin around the
lamination pattern. Be careful not to damage the edges of the lamination
pattern (g. 2).
Pull over a PVA bag and laminate the forearm shell in the usual manner.
Once the lamination form has set, grind the protruding edge of the lami-
nation pattern so that it's ush (g. 3).
Cut out the middle of the lamination pattern (g. 4) and remove (g. 5).
Insert the spacer block into the battery receptacle (g. 6) and install into the
forearm shell so that the engaging lever is positioned proximally. Next attach
the battery receptacle using sealing resin.
Attention! Be careful when applying sealing resin in the area of
the engaging lever (g. 7).
Once the resin has set, remove the spacer block and mount the 13E188=*
Battery Connection Cable in the battery receptacle (g. 8).
4.2 Installation into the Forearm of an Ottobock Elbow Component
Use the 757Z189=1 Pattern to position the battery receptacle.
Attention! When using an elbow component with AFB (Automa-
tic Forearm Balance) together with an electric wrist rotator, allow a
minimum distance of 103 mm between the elbow joint and battery
receptacle to avoid possible collision (g. 9).
Drill four holes within the shell of the pattern and saw out space for the bat-
tery receptacle (g. 10).

Insert the spacer block into the battery receptacle (g. 6) and install into the
shell so that the engaging lever is positioned proximally. Next, attach the
battery receptacle using sealing resin.
Attention! Be careful when applying sealing resin in the area of
the engaging lever (g. 7).
Once set, remove the spacer block and mount the 13E188=* Battery Con-
nection Cable in the battery receptacle (g. 8).
5 Liability
Otto Bock Healthcare Products GmbH, hereafter referred to as manufac-
turer, assumes liability only if the user complies with the processing, operat-
ing and maintenance instructions as well as the service intervals. The manu-
facturer explicitly states that this product may only be used in combination
with components that were authorized by the manufacturer (see instructions
for use and catalogs). The manufacturer does not assume liability for dam-
age caused by component combinations which it did not authorize.
The product may only be opened and repaired by authorized Ottobock tech-
nicians.

4 Instructions pour l'insertion
4.1 L'insertion dans l'emboîture de résine
Réaliser l'emboîture interne selon les techniques habituelles, la recouvir de
mousse Pedilen et poncer.
Placer le gabarit à couler dans la mousse rigide de manière à faire dépas-
ser l'arrête au moins de 2 mm.
Attention ! La surface sous le gabarit à couler doit être plane!
En appliquant de la plastiline dans le gabarit à couler, on peut modeler le
tracé du prol du positif plâtré. Veiller à ne pas endommager les bordures
du gabarit à couler (ill. 2).
Recouvrir de lm PVA et réaliser l'emboîture externe en résine.
Après durcissement libérer l'arrête visible du gabarit à couler en ponçant
(ill. 3).
Oter à l'aide d'une pince (ill. 5) les surfaces à droite et à gauche de la partie
médiane du gabarit à couler (ill. 4).
Introduire la pièce d'écartement dans le cadre (ill. 6) et xer dans l'emboî-
ture de manière à ce que le levier se place au niveau proximal. Coller le
cadre avec de la résine «Siegelharz».
Attention ! A proximité du levier appliquer la résine «Siegelharz»
avec prudence (ill. 7).

Après durcissement retirer la pièce de distance et monter le câble de rac-
cord pour les accus 13E188=* dans le cadre de mise en place (ill. 8).
4.2 Montage dans l'avant-bras d'une prothèse de coude Ottobock
Positionner le cadre de mise en place à l'aide du gabarit en lm plastique.
Attention ! Pour un coude avec l'aide à la exion ABF respecter
une distance minimale de 103 mm entre l'articulation de coude et le
cadre de mise en place, c'est à dire éviter la collision avec l'insert
électrique de rotation (ill. 9).
Percer 4 trous à l'intérieur du cadre du gabarit en lm plastique et scier pour
dégager la place nécessaire au cadre de mise en place (ill. 10).
Placer la pièce d'écartement dans le cadre de mise en place (ill. 6) et po-
sitionner celui- ci dans l'emboîture, de manière à placer le levier au niveau
proximal. Coller le cadre de mise en place avec de la résine «Siegelharz».
Attention ! A proximité du levier appliquer la résine «Siegelharz«
avec prudence (ill. 7).
Après durcissement retirer l'pièce de distance et monter le câble de raccord
pour les accus 13E188=* (ill. 8).
