Power Cord Instructions
Ashortpowercordisprovidedtoreducetheriskresultingfrombecomingentangledor
trippingoveralongcord.Pleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowtoensurethesafeuseof
thepowercord.
• Donotuseanextensioncordwiththisproduct.
• Donotpull,twistorotherwiseabusethepowercord.
Ifpowercordisdamaged,themanufacturer,anAuthorizedOster®ServiceCenteror
similarlyqualiedpersonsmustreplaceitinordertoavoidahazard.

BEFORE USING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Readallinstructionsthoroughly.
2. Removethecoffeeurnandallaccessoriesfromthepackagingcarefully.
3. Cleanthecoffeeurnpotwithaclean,dampcloth.Donotimmersetheunitinany
liquid.
4. Washthelid,coffeelterandwaterpipewithwarmsoapywater.Rinseeach
thoroughly.
5. Placeallpartsbackintheunitandclosethelid.
6. Selectalocationforthecoffeeurn.Thelocationshouldbeinanopenareaonaat
counterwheretheplugwillreachanoutlet.
7. Then,runabrewcyclewithwateronly,withoutaddingcoffee.
8. Whenbrewingiscomplete,unplugthencoffeeurnanddiscardthewater.Allowthe
coffeeurntocool.
Yourcoffeeurnisnowreadytouse.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Removethecoffeelter and the water pipe out of the unit and then add water to the
desiredlevelaccordingtothenumberofcupsofcoffeeyouwouldliketobrew(upto
a“MAX”levelof35cups).Toensurethebestcoffeeavor,makesuretobrewatleast
10cupsatonetime.
Note:Donotusehotwater.Donotaddwaterabovethe“MAX”level.
2.Placethewaterpipeandcoffeelterbackintotheunitmakingsurethepipetsinto
thebottomofthecoffeelterandtheheatingelement(locatedatthebottomofthe
pot).
3.Addthedesiredamountofgroundcoffeeintothecoffeelter.Note:Donotaddtoo
muchcoffee.Thetoplevelofcoffeeshouldbelowerthantheedgeofthecoffeelter
by2cm(1inch)orthecoffeemightoverowduringthebrewingprocess.
Thefollowingaresuggestedamounts:
Youcanadjusttheamountofcoffeeaccordingtoyourpreferenceandthekindof
coffeeused.
To Brew (150 ml cup) Use this amount of Ground Coffee

4.Tobrewthecoffee,closethelidbytwistingitclockwiseuntilthelockmarkingsare
aligned.

5.Insertthepowercordintothesocketlocatedinthebackoftheunitandthenplugit
intotheappropriateelectricaloutlet.Thecoffeeurnwillstartbrewingthecoffee.
Note:Donotopenlidwhilebrewing.
6.Oncethewatertemperaturereaches85°C,thecoffeebrewingprocessiscompleted
andtheunitwillautomaticallyswitchintothekeepwarmfeature.Thecoffeeurnwill
maintainthebrewedcoffeeatasuitabletemperatureforconsumption.Thereadylight
willilluminateindicatingthecoffeeisreadytobeconsumed.
7.Ifyounolongerwanttokeepthecoffeewarmorwanttoturnofftheunit,unplugthe
powercordfromtheelectricaloutlet.
CLEANING YOUR COFFEE URN
1.Makesuretounplugthecoffeeurnandletitcoolbeforecleaningit.
2.Cleantheoutsidesurfaceofthepotwithadampcloth.
Note: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MAIN BODY, POWER CORD OR PLUG IN WATER
OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
3.Washthelid,coffeelterandwaterpipewithwarmsoapywater.Rinseeach
thoroughly.
4.Poursomecleanwaterintothepottocleantheinternalsurfacewithasoftbrush.
Disposethewateronceitisclean.
Note:Theinternalsurfaceshouldbecleanedaftereachuse.

1. Liretouteslesinstructionssoigneusement.
2. Retireravecsoinlepercolateurettoussesaccessoiresducarton.
3. Nettoyerlepercolateuravecunchiffonproprelégèrementhumide.Neplonger
l’appareildansaucunliquide.
4. Nettoyerlecouvercle,leltreàcaféetletuyauàl’eausavonneuse.Bienrincer.
5. Remettretouslesaccessoiresenplaceàl’intérieurdel’appareiletfermerle
couvercle.
6. Choisirunemplacementpourlepercolateur.L’emplacementdoitsetrouverdansun
espaceouvert,surunplandetravailplatetprèsd’unepriseélectrique.
7. Puis,fairepasserdel’eauseulement,sansajouterdecafé.
8. Unefoisl’eaupassée,débrancherlepercolateuretjeterl’eau.Laisserlepercolateur
refroidir.
Votrepercolateurestmaintenantprêtàêtreutilisé.
MODE D’EMPLOI
1.Retirerleltreàcaféetletuyaud’alimentationd’eaudel’appareilpuisajouterdel’eaujusqu’au
niveaudésiré,enfonctiondunombredetassesdecaféquevousdésirezpréparer(jusqu’à
unmaximumde35tasses).Pourobtenirunboncafé,assurez-vousdeprépareraumoins10
tassesenuneseulefois.
Remarque:Nepasutiliserd’eauchaude.Nepasajouterd’eauau-dessusduniveaumaximum
“MAX”.
2.Remettreletuyauetleltreàcaféenplaceàl’intérieurdel’appareil,envousassurantquele
tuyauestbienaufonddultreàcaféetdel’élémentchauffant(situéaufonddelacarafe).
3.Ajouterlaquantitédésiréedecafémouludansleltreàcafé.Remarque:Nepasajoutertrop
decafé.Leniveauducafémouludoitêtre2cmaudessousduborddultre(1pousse)sinonle
cafépourraitdéborderpendantlapréparation.
