WATER RESISTANCE
The term water resistant or waterproof only applies to brand new watches.
Waterproofing is tested in accordance with DIN 8310. ATM (or BAR) is the defi-
nition of the test pressure and should not be confused with diving depth. When
swimming or diving into water, higher pressures may occur than the test pressure
guarantee for your watch. When in doubt, remove the watch first.

De term waterbestendig of waterdicht is alleen van toepassing op gloednieu-
we horloges. De waterdichtheid wordt getest volgens DIN 8310. ATM (of BAR)
is de definitie van de testdruk en mag niet worden verward met duikdiepte. Bij
het zwemmen of duiken in water kunnen er hogere drukken optreden dan de
testdruk die voor uw horloge wordt gegarandeerd. Verwijder bij twijfel eerst het
horloge.

RÉSISTANCE À L’EAU
Le terme résistant à l’eau ou étanche ne s’applique qu’aux montres neuves.
L’étanchéité est testée conformément à la norme DIN 8310. ATM (ou BAR) est la
définition du test de pression et ne doit pas être considéré comme correspondant
à la profondeur réelle de plongée car les mouvements en plongée ont tendance à
augmenter la pression à une profondeur donnée. En cas de doute, retirez d’abord
la montre.

Der Begriff wasserdicht gilt nur für brandneue Uhren. Die Abdichtung wird nach
DIN 8310 geprüft. ATM (oder BAR) ist die Definition des Prüfdrucks und darf
nicht mit der Tauchtiefe verwechselt werden. Beim Schwimmen oder Tauchen ins
Wasser können höhere Drücke auftreten als die Testdruckgarantie für Ihre Uhr.
Entfernen Sie im Zweifelsfall zuerst die Uhr.

• After setting or changing the battery, before setting the time, check if the dual time
hour hand and dual time minute hand are at the “0” (12 o’clock) position.
• If either the dual time hour hand or the dual time minute hand is not at the “0” position,
reset it/themfollowing the procedure shown below:
1) Pull out the crown to second click (VD33) / first click (VD34)
2) Keep the buttons A & B pressed at the same time for more than 2 seconds, then release the
buttons.
* Dual time minute hand moves and returns to where it was
3) Press button A or B to reset the dual time hands to “0” position.
* Button A : dual time hour hand and dual time minute hand move counter-clockwise
Button B : dual time hour hand and dual time minute hand move clockwise
* The dual time hour hand moves correspondingly with the dual time minute hand
* The dual time hour hand and dual time minute hand move quickly if the respective buttons are
kept pressed.
4) Push the crown back in the normal position.
Note : The dual time minute hand rotates one revolution at every quarter (15 minutes). There is no problem as it is typical function ofthe movement.
ADJUSTING DUAL TIME HANDS POSITION VD33/VD34
1. Pull out the crown to second click (VD33) / first click (VD34) when the second hand is at
the 12 o’clock position.
2. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. (make sure 24 hour hand is set
correctly).
3. Push the crown back in the normal position in accordance with a time signal.
Note :
• The 24 hour hand moves correspondingly with the hour hand.
• The moment the date changes is midnight. When setting the hour hand, make sure
that AM/PM is correctly set by using the 24 hour hand as an AM/PM indicator

[ Quick set the dual time ]
1. Crown at normal position.
2. Adjust the time by pressing the button A or B.
Button A : - 1 hour / push
Button B : +1 hour / push
[ Precise adjustment of the dual time ]
1. Pull out the crown to second click (VD33) / first click (VD34) when the second hand is at
the 12 o’clock position.
2. Adjust the time by pressing the button A or B.
Button A : -1 minute / push
Button B : +1 minute / push
3. Push the crown back in the normal position in accordance with a time signal.
DUAL TIME SETTING VD33/VD34
Before setting the date, be sure to set the time.
1. Pull out the crown to the first click.
2. Turn the crown clockwise until the desired date appears.
3. Push the crown back in the normal position.
Note :
*Do not set the date during any time between 9:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. Otherwise, the date
may not change properly. If it is necessary to set the date during that time period, first change
the time to any time outside it, set the date and then reset the correct time.
