NETGEAR RH348 User manual
NETGEAR’s RH348 ISDN Router connects multiple PCs to the Internet
with just one ISDN phone line and one Internet Service Provider account.
All your PCs can have the high-speed Internet access they need to efficiently
download programs, conduct research, or access email. As many as four PCs
with network cards can connect to the RH348 Router for direct Internet
access. By connecting Ethernet hubs to the RH348, you can bring an unlimit-
ed number of PCs online! Once again, NETGEAR brings high-speed Internet
access to the small business workplace within a small business budget.
FRIENDLY TO YOUR POCKET
With one ISDN phone line, one Internet Service Provider Account, and one RH348, you
can connect your small business to the Internet and save money on phone lines,
equipment, and service charges.
UNCOMPLICATED
The RH348’s built-in DHCP server automatically assigns and configures IP information
for connected PCs, your Domain Name Server, and your default gateway, making multiple
Internet connections as easy as one.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
Traditional modems rarely perform to their full potential because of line quality. The
RH348 uses ISDN’s pure digital network to achieve maximum speed with every connec-
tion, promising 128 Kbps service all the time for all your PCs.
CONVENIENT
Two phone ports are available for connecting phones or fax machines.
RESOURCEFUL
Provides for voice override so phone calls and faxes can be sent or received without losing
data connectivity.
