pecifications
3.1 general
The BigEye RGB LED spot is light fixture especi lly designed for
outdoor pplic tions where high light output is necess ry.
The LED PCB c rries 24 x 3W LED’s of which 8x Red, 8x Green
nd 8x Blue.
The housing is m de from solid luminium so it serves s cooler
s well.
An ddition l 700mA led driver nd power supply is necess ry to
use the BigEye RGB LED spot.

•Aluminium housing, 15 µm nodized
•Aluminium mounting ring, 15 µm nodized

4.2 Protection from electric shock
Although this device itself does not oper te with d ngerous
volt ges, the inst ll tion in which is intended to be used, c n
cont in d ngerous volt ges.
Shut down the power of the complete inst ll tion before c rrying
out ny inst ll tion, or m inten nce work.
Use only AC to DC power sources, suit ble for the pplic tion,
nd conform to loc l regul tions. Ple se ensure yourself th t the
AC to DC power supply is ble to deliver the r ted current
requirements of the inst ll tion.
If ny c ble, se l or housing is d m ged, cr cked or reformed,
disconnect the power of the inst ll tion immedi tely.
For ny ddition l servicing, not described in this m nu l, ple se
cont ct your point of s le.
4.3 Protections from fire and burns
Do not oper te this led-unit if mbient temper tures, is bove
45 °C (113 °F). Ple se ensure yourself th t sufficient ventil tion
round the led module is possible.
It might be necess ry to llow the led-unit to cool down for 5
minutes, before servicing.
Do not modify the led-fixture, in w y, not described in this
m nu l.

Ensure yourself th t the led-module nd ll its ccessories re
securely f stened. Verify th t the led unit is firmly fixed to its
supporting underground.
4.5 Disposing of this product
This led-lighting device is m nuf ctured in compli nce with
directive of the Europe n community: w ste electric l nd
electronic lly equipment. Ple se help to preserve our
environment, nd ensure th t this product will be recycled
properly t the end of its life.

Inst ll tion must be c rried out by qu lified profession ls only.
Assure yourself th t there is sufficient nd unrestricted ir flow
round the RGB LED spot.

This BigEye RGB LED spot c n be used in ll directions.
5.3 Mounting

combustible m teri ls, but t ke in consider tion th t the module
c n h ve Tc of pprox 30 °C higher s mbient temper ture.

External connections
afety precautions
Never connect the live power on the input termin ls of the
BigEye RGB LED spot! The BigEye RGB LED spot c n only be use
by proper 700mA led driver powered by 48 VDC power
supply.
In c se of doubts, cont ct your point of s le.
Polarity
The BigEye RGB LED spot is pol rity sensitive. So observe
pol rity nd c bling:
•Inner conductor m rked with 1 = Common +
•Inner conductor m rked with 2 = Red
•Inner conductor m rked with 3 = Green
•Inner conductor m rked with 4 = Blue
Improper connection, might d m ge the BigEye RGB LED spot
nd power supply perm nently. In c se of inversed pol rity, the
w rr nty is void.
Connectors
M ke sure to use IP66 connectors if the use of connectors is
necess ry, in n outdoor environment, to obt in IP66 for
complete system. The BigEye RGB LED spot c n be delivered
with suit ble IP66 connectors. Ple se cont ct your point of s le.
Power supply: Rated current
The r ted input current r nge of the BigEye RGB LED spot is
700mA. Use proper led driver.
We recommence the ‘LL 12ch LEDdriver 700mA’ with the proper
48VDC power supply. A highly suit ble, DMX driven LED driver.
One driver c n control up to 4 BigEye RGB LED spots.
