Body-worn Operation
This Mobile Broadband Express Card Modem, model L-07A, is approved for use in normal size
laptop computers only (typically with 12" or larger display screens).
To comply with FCC RF exposure requirements, this modem should not be used in configurations
that cannot maintain at least 10mm (approximately 0.39 inches) from users and bystanders.
This Express Card modem has been tested for compliance with FCC/IC RF exposure limits
in the laptop computer(s) configurations with horizontal and vertical USB slots and can be
used in laptop computers with substantially similar physical dimensions, construction,
and electrical and RF characteristics. When using this Express Card modem in your computer,
it must not be co-located or simultaneously transmit with any other radio
(for example, Bluetooth or Wifi radios) in the computer. If the modem will be used with
the mounting folder and extension cable combination, the modem must not be co-located or
simultaneously transmit with any active antenna that may be located on your computer screen.��

The L-07A is a USB Modem using HSPA for wireless internet anytime and anywhere.
* HSPA (High Speed Packet Access): This is a mobile communication technology for
sending/receiving data at a signicantly faster speed than that of W-CDMA or CDMA.

FOMA Terminal, Battery Pack,
Adapters and UIM

FOMA terminal or other devices
in locations subject to high
temperatures, such as near an
open re, in direct sunlight or
inside a car on a hot day.
Devices could be deformed or
malfunction, or the battery pack
may leak, overheat, explode, ignite,
lower the performance, or shorten
the life. Also, part of the case could
get heated, causing bare skin burns.
Do not attempt to disassemble
or remodel the FOMA terminal
or other devices. And do not
apply solder to them.
Fire, injury, electric shock or
malfunction may result. The
battery pack may leak, overheat,

smells, overheating,
discoloration or deformation of
the terminal, immediately take
the following actions:
1. Remove the power plug from
the outlet or cigarette lighter
socket.
2. Turn the FOMA terminal
power o.
3. Remove the battery pack
from the FOMA terminal.
If you continue to use the
terminal or devices under the
conditions above, it may overheat,
explode, or ignite; or the battery
pack may leak.

or accessories in places which are
unstable such as wobbly tables
or sloping shelves.
The FOMA terminal or accessories
may fall, resulting in injury or
malfunction.

FOMA terminal.
