Charge Your Headset:
The headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Prior to using the
headset for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the battery first.
Insert the USB Charge cable into the headset's USB charging port and
plug the cable to a USB power source. The light on the power button
(status indicator) will stay red during charging.
IMPORTANT : Charging indication will be delayed for a few seconds if the
headset has not been used for a long time or the battery is drained.
Normal Char ging Time:
It takes up to 3 hours to fully charge the battery. When the battery is fully

Talk and Standby Time:
A fully charged battery can offer up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 240
hours of standby time. When there are no calls, the headset should remain
Battery Low Indication:
When the battery power is low and the headset is on, it will automatically
power off within 1 minute. Please follow the instructions described above to
recharge the battery.

Setup:
The PS 3 Bluetooth™ headset
®has to be registered, or
"paired", with your PS®3 before it can be used.
Make sure your Bluetooth™ headset is fully charged before you begin.
Check your headset instructions for entering "pairing mode". Activate
your headsets' "pairing mode" so it can be recognized by the PS®3.
On the Cross Media Bar (or XMB) of the PS®3 go to the "Settings"
tab, then down into "Accessory Settings", then down into "Manage
Bluetooth Devices".
With your headset in pairing mode, follow the onscreen instructions
and let the PS®3 scan for your headset. When your headset is found
(Device Name: P5HM-001), follow the prompts and enter a pass key
(if necessary- the default is usually 0000 for all brands). The pairing
should now be complete.
Mic Test and Volume Setting:
After pairing the Bluetooth™ Headset, or after plugging in a USB (wired)
headset, return to the XMB. Go to "Accessory Settings" and choose "Audio
Device Settings". You can test your headset here.
Your headset should appear as the audio input/output device. If not,
just use the D-pad to highlight the Input line, then scroll until you see
P5HM-001. Any microphone you have used with your PS®3 will be
listed, but only the current one will be available to select.
Set the "Microphone Level" to 4. You can change the level any time
if needed.
Speak into the headset, and the level bar at the top of the screen
should move to the sound of your voice.
If the microphone doesn't appear, try pairing it again.

Safety Information:
lDo not expose the headset to liquid, moisture or humidity as it is not
waterproof.
lNever allow children to play with the headset - small parts may be of
choking hazard.
lObserve all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF
radio product to be switched off in designated areas. These could
include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially explosive places
(i.e. gas stations).
lTo prevent damage to your hearing, please do not set the listening
volume too high.
lDo not keep your headset near a wash basin or other wet places.
lDo not use the headset outdoors in the rain.
lDo not clean the headset while it is being charged. Always unplug the
charger first before cleaning the headset.
lDo not attempt to modify the headset for another purpose.
lDo not attempt to force open or mutilate the built-in battery.
lDisposal of the packaging and the headset should be done in
accordance with the local regulations.

Recharge du casque d'écoute :
Le casque d'écoute comprend une pile rechargeable intégrée. Avant d'u-
tiliser le casque d'écoute pour la première fois, il est préférable de charger
d'abord la pile. Insérer le câble de recharge USB dans le port de recharge
du casque d'écoute USB, et brancher le câble dans une source d'alimen-
tation USB. Le voyant de l'interrupteur (indicateur d'activité) demeure
rouge durant la recharge.
IMPORTANT : l'indication de recharge sera retardée de quelques secon-
des si le casque d'écoute n'a pas été utilisé pendant une longue période
ou si la pile est épuisée.
Durée normale de recharge :
La recharge de la pile prend jusqu'à 3 heures. Lorsque la pile est complète-
ment chargée, l'indicateur d'activité s'éteint.
Temps de conversation et temps de disponibilité passive :
Une pile complètement chargée procure un temps de conversation d'envi-
ron 9 heures, et un temps de disponibilité passive d'environ 240 heures.
Lorsqu'il n'y a pas d'appel en cours, le casque d'écoute demeure sous ten-
sion en mode attente.
Indicateur de pile faible :
Lorsque la pile devient faible pendant que le casque d'écoute est sous ten-
sion, l'indicateur de pile faible émet un bip à chaque minute jusqu'à ce qu'il
s'éteigne automatiquement. Veuillez suivre les consignes énoncées ci-
dessus pour recharger la pile.

Installation :
Le casque d'écoute BluetoothMC pour PLAYSTATIONMD3 doit être enreg-
istré ou « jumelé » avec votre PSMD3 avant d'être utilisé.
lAssurer que le casque d'écoute BluetoothMC est entièrement chargé
avant de commencer.
lLire le mode d'emploi du casque d'écoute avant d'adopter le « mode
jumelage ». Activer le « mode jumelage » du casque d'écoute afin que
PSMD3 le reconnaisse.
lSur la barre Cross Media (ou XMB) du PSMD3, aller à l'onglet
« Settings » (paramètres), puis à « Accessory Settings » (paramètres
des accessoires), et « Manage Bluetooth Devices » (gestion des
dispositifs Bluetooth).
lAvec le casque d'écoute en mode jumelage, suivre les consignes à
l'écran et laisser PSMD3 chercher le casque d'écoute. Lorsque le
casque d'écoute a été trouvé (nom du dispositif : P5HM-001), suivre
les consignes et inscrire un code d'accès (si nécessaire, le code
d'accès par défaut est généralement 0000 pour toutes les marques).
Le jumelage est terminé.
Essai du micro et réglage du volume :
Après avoir jumelé le casque d'écoute BluetoothMC ou avoir branché un
casque d'écoute USB (câblé), retourner à XMB. Aller à « Accessory
Settings », et sélectionner « Audio Device Settings » (paramètres du dis-
positif audio). C'est le moment de mettre le casque d'écoute à l'essai.
lLe casque d'écoute doit apparaître comme dispositif audio
entrée/sortie. Sinon, utiliser le D-pad pour surligner la ligne Input
(entrée), puis défiler jusqu'à ce que le code P5HM-001 apparaisse.
Tout micro utilisé avec PSMD3 sera indiqué sur la liste, mais seul le
micro utilisé actuellement peut être sélectionné.
lRégler « Microphone Level » (volume du micro) à 4. Le volume peut
être modifié en tout temps.
lParler dans le casque d'écoute, et la barre de volume située dans le
haut de l'écran se déplacera au son de la voix.
Si le micro n'apparaît pas, essayer de nouveau le jumelage
