Operation Instructions
1. Connect AC/DC adapter to AC power socket and 3D Magic Pen DC
power socket (or use the USB cable to connect with power bank
which outputs more than 2 Amps). When the OLED screen is on,
it means power is connected.
2. Press the filament loading button, it will start to heat, and the screen will
display the temperature. When it reaches the target, it means it is ready
to load the filament.
3. Insert the 1.75mm filament into the filament loading hole. Keep pressing
the filament loading button and the material will be loaded. Hold until
plastic material comes out of the nozzle. This means the filament is ready.
(Double clicking on the load button to load the filament automatically.
Press the button again to exit automatic mode).
4. Temperature adjustment: press the temperature + and - button to adjust
the temperature. Temperature range is 266°F – 464°F. When the pen is
turned on, it will automatically reach the default temperature setting of
410°F, which is a proper temperature for using ABS filaments.
5. Speed adjustment: Adjust the speed of the filament feed by sliding the
speed controller switch.
6. Press and hold the unload filament button and filament will slowly eject
from the 3D pen. Double-click the unload button to remove filament
automatically.
7. Press increase temperature button and unload filament button at the
same time to switch back and forth from ABS to PLA. Also, the ABS/PLA
mode can be selected by simply increasing and decreasing temperature.
The pen must be set for the ABS mode or temperature must be set at
410°F when using ABS filaments. The 3D Magic Pen™must be set for the
PLA mode or temperature must be set at 347°F when using PLA filaments.
Note: Only ABS filaments are supplied by the manufacturer at this time.
9. The pen enters standby mode after 2 minutes of no operation. Press
