VIEW BALANCE´S VERSION NUMBER
1. Connect the balance pressing the ke .
2. Keep pressed the ke until the initial countdown ends.
3. The displa will show the message “1001”. This number is the balance´s
version number.
4. Release the ke , the balance will initialize the setting functions.

KEYBOARD DESCRIPTION
KEYS FUNCTION
To turn off the balance, keep pressed this ke until displa shows “Off” for
2 seconds.
Press this ke to turn on the balance.
Function 1. To select the desired weight unit.
Function 2. To exit from setup mode.
Function 1. To reset the weight to zero “0”, but the displa value has to be
lesser than
±
2% of maximum capacit .
Function 2. To move one space to the left or downward in setup mode.
Function 1. To subtract the container´s weight.
Function 2. To move one space to the right or upward in setup mode.
Function 1. To view gross or net weight when the balance is on tare status.
All other ke s will be disabled when gross weight is activated.

STANDARD CALIBRATION
Press the and ke to access to standard calibration.
ECF-1 Weight calibration (Zero and Span)
ECF-2 Zero calibration
ECF-3 Span calibration
Weight calibration ECF-1
1. Press the ke to access to mode ECF-1 or press the ke to exit and return
to normal weighing mode.
2. The displa will show CALZ, press the ke .
3. Use the ke s ◄, ►, ▲, 0 ~ 9 to introduce the calibration weight value and confirm

5. The balance will automaticall calibrate and return to normal weighing mode.
Zero calibration ECF-2
1. Press the ke to access to mode ECF-2 or press the ke to exit and return to
normal weighing mode.

3. The balance will automaticall perform zero calibration and return to normal
weighing mode.
Span calibration ECF-3
1. Press the ke to access to mode ECF-3 or press the ke to exit and return to
normal weighing mode.
2. Use the ke s ◄, ►, ▲, 0 ~ 9 to introduce the calibration weight value and confirm

FUNCTIONS SETTING
To access to functions setting, press the and ke .
UF-1 Internal value
1. Press the ke to view the internal value.
2. To move to next parameter press the ► ke .
3. To exit and return to normal weighing press the ke .
UF-2 Weight limits
1. Press the ke to access to weight limits configuration.
2. The displa will show the message “0000.0L”
3. Use the ke s and to introduce the low limit value, with ke to increase
the digit value.
4. Press the ke to confirm.
5. The displa will show “0000.0H”

UF-3 Auto-turn off
Modes:
-AoFF 00 – Auto-turn off disable.
-AoFF 01 – The balance will automaticall turn off after 1 minute of non use.

The auto-turn off can be configurated up to 99 minutes AoFF01~AoFF99, the default
value is AoFF10 (10 minutes)

UF-4 Backlight
Modes:
-Lit Off: Disable.
-Lit A: Automatic
-Lit on: Alwa s activated.
Default value: Lit A (automatic)
1. Press the to access to backlight configuration.
2. Use the ke to select the desired mode.
3. Press the ke to confirm.
UF-5 HOLD function (keeps the reading fixed on displa for few seconds after
removing the load from the platter)
Modes:
-HOLD 0 : Disable.
-HOLD 1 : Weighing animals mode.
-PCt : To configurate the range from 001~100 in HOLD 1 mode.
-timE : To configurate the time from 1 2 4 8 16 32 64 in HOLD 1 mode
Default value: HOLD 0
1. Press the ke to access to HOLD function configuration.
2. Use the ke to select the desired mode.
3. Press the ke to confirm.
UF-8 Zero configuration
ZP 0 Disable function.
ZP 1 1 division not displa ed
ZP 2 2 divisions not displa ed
ZP 3 3 divisions not displa ed
ZP 4 4 divisions not displa ed

•This function is locked if HOLD 1 function is activated.

UF-9 Gravity Value setup
Although the balance allows the Standard Calibration, the G value setup provides a
greater accurac . This pre-calibration is performed with the switch CAL in ADJ
position. The value will be set to -00- and it will be replaced each time ou enter a new
value.
Gravit value of Distributor: configurated before the weight calibration.
Gravit value of User: configurated after the weight calibration.
The value of gravit will be denied if is greater than 9.83217 (Polar Gravit ) or less
than 9.78031 (Ecuador Gravit )
Default value: 9.79423

2. The displa will show the last value for 1 second.
3. Use the ke s and to move from a digit to other and the ke to increase
the digit value.

This scale is guaranteed for one ear from the deliver date. The guarantee covers an
fabrication defect of the material.
During this period GRAM PRECISION, covers the manpower and the spare parts necessar for
the reparation of the scale.
This guarantee does not cover the failures caused b an inappropriate use or overcharge.
The guarantee does not cover the freight cost (transport) necessary to repair the scale.
