1) This programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crock‐
ery and cutlery with normal soil. This is the standard programme for test institutes.
2) The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets. It auto‐
matically adjusts the temperature and quantity of water as well as the wash duration.
3) This programme is designed to wash a load with mixed soil. Place items with heavy soil
in the lower basket and with normal soil in the upper basket. The pressure and temperature
of the water in the lower basket are higher than in the upper basket.
4) This programme is designed to wash heavily soiled items with high water pressure and at
a high temperature.
5) This programme is designed to wash a load or a half load with fresh or light soil in a short
time.
6) With this programme, you can quickly rinse off food remains from dishes and prevent
odours forming in the appliance. Do not use detergent with this programme.

the harder your water is. Water hardness
is measured in equivalent scales.

The water softener should be adjusted
according to the hardness of the water in
your area. Your local water authority can
advise you on the hardness of the water
in your area. It is important to set the
right level of the water softener to assure
