Gerät ist ausschließlich für den normalen

Hausgebrauch und nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz

vorgesehen

ACHTUNG!

Diese Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren

und darüber sowie von Personen mit verrin-

gerten physischen, sensorischen oder menta-

len Fähigkeiten oder Mangels an Erfahrung

und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beauf-

Am Heizgerät ist das Symbol, ange-

bracht, das signalisiert, dass das

Heizgerät nicht abgedeckt werden

darf!

Das Gerät muss so platziert werden, dass die

Bedienteile nicht von Personen berührt wer-

den können, die sich in der Badewanne, Du-

sche oder in einem mit Wasser gefüllten

Gefäß befinden!

Platzieren Sie das Gerät so, dass ein zufälliges Be-

rühren ausgeschlossen ist Verbrennungsgefahr!

Nach dem Abschalten kühlt das Gerät erst allmäh-

lich ab

Das Gerät ist nicht geeignet zum Anschluss an fest

verlegte Leitungen!

Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmä-

ßig installierte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose an Der

Einbau einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit

2. Verpackung

Nach dem Auspacken das Gerät auf Transportschä-

den und den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit prüfen!

Bei Schäden oder unvollständiger Lieferung bitte an Ihr

Fachgeschäft oder den Kundendienst wenden!

Verpackungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß entsorgen!

Plastikbeutel können zu einem lebensgefährlichen

Spielzeug für Kinder werden!

3. Standort

Der Abstand zwischen Gerät und brennbaren Gegen-

ständen (z B Vorhängen), Wänden oder anderen Bau-

lichkeiten muss min 50 cm betragen

Gerät nicht auf instabile Flächen (z B einem Bett) stel-

len, da hier ein Umkippen möglich ist!

4. Netzkabel

Verwenden Sie nur, der Leistungsaufnahme entspre-

chende, geprüfte Verlängerungskabel!

Stellen Sie sicher, dass niemand über das Netzkabel

stolpern und so das Gerät umwerfen kann

Netzkabel darf nicht mit heißen Geräteteilen in Berüh-

rung kommen!

Stecker niemals am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen!

Gerät niemals durch Ziehen am Kabel bewegen oder

Kabel zum Tragen des Gerätes benutzen!

Kabel nicht einklemmen oder über scharfe Kanten zie-

hen Kabel nicht über heiße Herdplatten oder offene

Flammen legen! Kabel nicht um das Gerät wickeln!

Gerät nicht mit aufgewickeltem Kabel betreiben!

Dies gilt besonders bei Verwendung einer Kabeltrom-

mel

5. Montage der Rollen (siehe Bild 2 3)

Vor der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes müssen un-

bedingt die Laufrollen vollständig montiert werden!

Stellen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig, mit der Unterseite

nach oben, auf den Boden Der Untergrund darf

nicht zu hart sein -Lack- und Geräteschäden!

Montieren Sie die Rollen beidseitig jeweils zwi-

schen der äußeren und der darauffolgenden Rippe

Ziehen Sie die Flügelmuttern fest an und stellen

Sie den Radiator vorsichtig zurück auf die Laufrol-

len

6. Inbetriebnahme

Zur Inbetriebnahme den Stecker in die Steckdose ste-

cken

6.1 Kontrolllampen

Die Anzeigeleuchte leuchtet auf, wenn das Heizgerät

in Betrieb ist

6.2 Schalter (S) (siehe Bild 5)

6.3 Thermostat (T) (siehe Bild 4)

Um eine bestimmte Raumtemperatur zu erhalten, den

Regler auf Maximalwert stellen Das Gerät bei voller

Leistung betreiben bis die gewünschte Raumtempera-

tur erreicht ist Regler zurückstellen, bis das Gerät mit

einem „Klick” ausschaltet Durch automatisches Ein-

und Ausschalten des Gerätes wird die so eingestellte

Temperatur nahezu aufrecht erhalten

Bitte beachten Sie, dass sich das Gerät nur einschal-

ten lässt, wenn die Thermostateinstellung höher ist als

die Raumtemperatur

6.4 Betrieb der digitalen Zeitschaltuhr LCD

(Abb. 6)

ACHTUNG!

Berücksichtigen Sie alle Sicherheitswarnun-

gen, wenn Sie das Heizgerät bei automati-

scher Einstellung verwenden

Bei der Zeitschaltuhr können Sie „AUTO” oder „MAN

ON” (Manuell) auswählen, indem Sie die Taste

„MODE” (Modus) drücken, bis der gewünschte Modus

unten auf der Anzeige der Zeitschaltuhr erscheint

Im Modus „AUTO” schaltet sich das Heizgerät nach

einem festgelegten Zeitraum des 24-Stunden-Pro-

gramms EIN oder AUS (Siehe unten „Programme ein-

stellen”)

Im Modus „MAN ON” wird die Stromzufuhr zum Heiz-

gerät nicht von den Programmeinstellungen unterbro-

chen

6.5 Tastensperre

Wenn „ENTER” (Eingabe) und „MODE” innerhalb einer

Sekunde gedrückt werden, werden die Tasten verrie-

gelt Der Benutzer sieht, dass die Tasten verriegelt

sind, wenn das Symbol „ ‘’ in der oberen linken

Ecke des Bildschirms angezeigt wird Zum Entsperren

der Tastatur „ENTER” und dann „MODE” innerhalb

einer Sekunde drücken

7. Inbetriebnahme

Beim ersten Gebrauch das Heizgerät ans Stromnetz

anschließen und die Stromverbindung herstellen Die

Zeitschaltuhr kann nun zum Gebrauch eingestellt wer-

den

7.1 Aktuelle Zeit einstellen

1 EINMAL Taste „PROGRAM” (Programm) drücken

Das Uhr-Symbol erscheint oben links auf dem Bild-

schirm Der Benutzer kann nun die Uhrzeit einstel-

len

2 Die Stundenzahl blinkt Um die Stunde einzustellen,

die Tasten „-” und „+” verwenden

Die Stunde durch Drücken der Taste „ENTER” bestäti-

gen

3 Nachdem „ENTER” gedrückt wurde, blinken die Mi-

nuten Um die Minuten einzustellen, die Tasten „-”

und „+” verwenden Die Minutenzahl durch Drücken

der Taste „ENTER” bestätigen

4 Die Zeitschaltuhr kehrt zur Standardanzeige zurück

5 Die obigen Schritte wiederholen, um eine falsch ein-

gestellte Zeit zurückzusetzen

Wenn die korrekte Zeit eingestellt ist, können insge-

samt vier EIN/AUS Zeitprogramme für den Betrieb ein-

gestellt werden

7.2 Programme einstellen

Die Taste „PROGRAM” zweimal drücken, um die Pro-

gramme einzustellen

Die mit P1 beginnenden Programme werden nun auf

EIN gestellt

7.2.1 Einschaltzeit von P1 einstellen:

1 Um die Stunde einzustellen, die Tasten „-” und „+”

verwenden Die Stunde durch Drücken der Taste

„ENTER” bestätigen

2 Um die Minuten einzustellen, die Tasten „-” und „+”

verwenden

Die Minutenzahl durch Drücken der Taste „ENTER”

bestätigen

HINWEIS

Im Programm „MODE” können die Minuten nur in

Schritten von 10 Minuten eingestellt werden

7.2.2 Ausschaltzeit von P1 einstellen:

3 Um die Stunde einzustellen, die Tasten „-” und „+”

verwenden Die Stunde durch Drücken der Taste

„ENTER” bestätigen

4 Um die Minuten einzustellen, die Tasten „-” und „+”

verwenden

Die Minutenzahl durch Drücken der Taste „ENTER”

bestätigen

Schritte 1 bis 4 für die Einstellung für P2, P3 und P4

wiederholen Nach dem Einstellen der Ausschaltzeit

für P4 kehrt die Anzeige automatisch zur Standardan-

zeige zurück

Während dem Einstellen der Zeitschaltuhr kann durch

Drücken der Taste „PROGRAM” jederzeit zur Standar-

danzeige zurückgekehrt werden

HINWEIS

Wenn die Einschaltzeit gleich der AUS-Schaltzeit ist,

ignoriert das Heizgerät das Programm

7.3 Die Funktion „Advance”

Wenn im Modus „AUTO” die Taste „+” länger als 2 Se-

kunden gedrückt wird, springt das Programm zur

nächsten programmierten Einstellung und kehrt nur

zum Programm zurück, wenn die nachfolgende Pro-

grammzeit erreicht wurde Wenn die Funktion „AD-

VANCE” (Vorlauffunktion) aktiv ist, erscheint das Seg-

ment „ADVANCE” auf der LCD-Anzeige, Wenn die

Taste“-“ gedrückt wird während das Programm “AD-

VANCE“ läuft, wird die Funktion „ADVANCE“ automa-

tisch abgebrochen und das Programm läuft normal

weiter

HINWEIS

Akkuzelle für Zeitschaltuhr

Ist das Heizgerät mindestens 72 Stunden lang an das

Stromnetz angeschlossen, so ist der Akku der Zeit-

schaltuhr vollständig geladen

Wenn der Akku der Zeitschaltuhr vollständig geladen

ist und es zu einem Stromausfall kommt oder das Heiz-

gerät vom Stromnetz für weniger als sechs Monate ge-

trennt wird, erhält die Zeitschaltuhr die Zeitangabe auf-

recht und die Einstellungen im Speicher bleiben

erhalten

Wenn jedoch der Akku der Zeitschaltuhr nicht vollstän-

dig geladen wurden oder das Heizgerät länger als

sechs Monate vom Stromnetz getrennt ist, gehen

Zeitangaben und Programmeinstellungen mit großer

Wahrscheinlichkeit verloren und müssen neu einge-

stellt werden, bevor der Modus „AUTO“ wieder verwen-

det werden kann

8. Kabelaufwicklung (siehe Bild 1)

Im ausgesteckten Zustand kann das Netzkabel an der

Kabelaufbewahrung aufgewickelt werden

9. Reinigung

Zuerst das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker

aus der Steckdose ziehen!

Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Tuch, Staubsauger

oder Staubpinsel reinigen

Keine scheuernden und ätzenden Reinigungsmittel

verwenden!

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gerätes niemals

leicht entflammbare Reinigungsmittel wie z B Spi-

ritus oder Benzin

Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzten,

sollten Sie es vor übermäßigen Staub und Schmutz

schützen

Luftöffnungen o ä regelmäßig mit einem Staub-

sauger reinigen

10. Kundendienst

Reparaturen und Eingriffe in das Gerät sind nur durch

autorisiertes Fachpersonal zulässig!

Unfachmännische Eingriffe führen zum Verlust des

Garantieanspruches

Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche

Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen!

Im Kundendienstfall wenden Sie sich bitte an ihren

Elektro-Fachhändler oder an die zentrale Servicehot-

line der Glen Dimplex Deutschland GmbH

11. Recycling

Für Elektrogeräte die in der Europäi-

schen Gemeinschaft verkauft wurden

Kaputte Elektrogeräte dürfen nicht im

Hausmüll entsorgt werden

Wenn möglich sollten sie recycelt wer-

den Informationen zum Recycling in

Ihrem Land erhalten Sie von den örtli-

chen Behörden oder von Ihrem Händler

2. Packaging

After unpacking the appliance, check the same for

transport damage and the contents for completeness!

In the event of damage or an incomplete delivery, con-

tact your authorised retailer!

Do not discard the original box! It can be used for stor-

age and dispatch to avoid transport damage!

Dispose of the packaging material in a proper manner!

Plastic bags should be kept away from children!

3. Location

The appliance should be placed with a minimum dis-

tance of 50cm from flammable objects, walls or other

structures! The appliance openings must not be ob-

structed in any way!

Do not place the appliance on instable surfaces, where

it can tip over!

4. Power cord

Only use an approved extension cord that is suitable

for the appliance rating!

Position the power cord so that it does not pose a trip-

ping hazard and possibly cause the appliance to be

knocked over

The power cord must not come into contact with hot ap-

pliance parts!

Never pull the plug out of the socket at the cord!

Never move the appliance by pulling at the cord or use

the cord for carrying purposes!

Do not coil the cord around the appliance! Do not use

the appliance with the cord coiled!

This applies particularly if a cable drum is used

Do not crush the cord or drag it over sharp edges Do

not place it over heated hotplates or naked flames!

5. Fitting rollers (see Fig. 2 & 3)

Before using the appliance, the rollers must be fit-

ted!

Carefully place the appliance on the floor with the

underside facing upwards The surface must not be

too hard – paint or appliance damage!

Installing the casters between the outer-most rib on

each end of the radiator and its adjacent rib using

the spring clips provided

Tighten the wing nuts and carefully turn the radiator

back on the rollers

6. Start up

To use, insert the plug in the socket

The pilot light illuminates when the appliance is heat-

6.3 Thermostat (T) (see Fig. 4)

In order to maintain a certain room temperature, set the

controller to “max ” Operate the appliance at full power

until the required room temperature is reached Set

back the thermostatic controller until the appliance

switches off with an audible “click” This temperature

will be kept almost constant by the thermostatic control

switching on and off automatically Please note that the

appliance can only be switched on when the thermo-

stat setting is higher then the room temperature

6.4 Digital Timer Operation LCD (see Fig. 6)

ATTENTION!

Remember to observe all safety warnings

when operating the heater on auto setting, ei-

ther attended or unattended

The timer allows you to select ‘AUTO’ or ‘MAN ON’ by

pressing the ‘MODE’ button until the required MODE

appears at the bottom of the timer display

‘AUTO’ MODE allows the heater to switch ON and OFF

according to a set 24 Hour program period (see ‘Set-

ting Programs’ section below)

‘MAN ON’ MODE allows power to the heater uninter-

rupted by the program settings

6.5 Key Lock

If ‘ENTER’ and ‘MODE’ are pressed within 1 second,

the keys will be locked The user will know the keys are

locked as the lock symbol „ “ will be displayed on

the top left hand corner of the screen To unlock the

keypad, press ‘ENTER’ and then ‘MODE’ within 1 sec-

ond

7. Initial Operation

For initial use, plug the heater into a regular household

power point and turn the power on The timer is now

ready to be set up for use

7.1 Setting Current Time

1 Press the „PROGRAM“ button ONCE The clock

symbol appears on the top left hand side of the

screen The user can now set the clock

2 The hour digit will flash To adjust the hour use the

„-“ & „+“buttons Confirm the hour digit by pressing

„ENTER“

3 Once „ENTER“ has been pressed the minutes will

flash To adjust the minutes use the „-“ & „+“buttons

Confirm the minutes digit by pressing „ENTER“

4 The timer now return to the default display

5 To reset incorrect time, repeat previous steps

Once the correct time is set, a total of four ON/OFF

time programs can be set for operation

7.2 Setting Programmes

Press the ‘PROGRAM’ key twice to set the programs

You are now setting the programs starting with P1

‘ON’

7.2.1 Setting P1 ON time:

1 To set the hour use the ‘-‘ & ‘+’ buttons Confirm the

hour digit by pressing ‘ENTER’

2 To set the minutes use the ‘-‘ & ‘+’ buttons Confirm

the minute digit by pressing ‘ENTER’

The minutes can only be set in 10 minute blocks in

programme ‘MODE’

7.2.2 Setting P1 OFF Time:

3 To set the hour use the ‘-‘ & ‘+’ buttons Confirm the

hour digit by pressing ‘ENTER’

4 To set the minutes use the ‘-‘ & ‘+’ buttons Confirm

the minute digit by pressing ‘ENTER’

Repeat steps 1 to 4 to programme P2, P3 & P4 After

programming P4 ‘OFF’ you automatically exit to the de-

fault display

At any time while programming the timer you can press

the ‘PROGRAM’ button to exit to the default display

If the ‘ON’ time is the same as the ‘OFF’ time the appliance

will ignore the program

7.3. The Advance Function

When in ‘AUTO’ MODE, if the ‘+’ button is pressed for

longer than 2 seconds the programme will ADVANCE

to the next setting programmed and will only revert

back to the program when the subsequent programme

time is reached When the ‘ADVANCE’ function is run-

ning the ‘ADVANCE’ segment will be displayed on the

LCD screen If the ‘-‘button is pressed when the ‘AD-

VANCE’ programme is running the ‘ADVANCE’ feature

will be automatically cancelled and the programme will

run as normal

Timer Memory Back Up Batteries

Once the heater has been left plugged in with the socket

switched on for at least 72 hours the timer’s memory back up

batteries will be fully charged

Once the timer batteries are fully charged, if there is a

power cut or if the heater is disconnected from the

mains for less than six months, then the timer will con-

tinue to keep time & the settings in the memory will re-

main intact

If however the timer back up batteries have not been

charged fully, or if the heater is deprived of power for

longer than six months, then the time and the pro-

gramme settings are likely to be lost and you may

therefore need to reset the time and the programme

before using the AUTO MODE again
