Heater controls

• Use the heater in comfort mode when the room is

occupied.

• Use the heater in set back (background) mode when the

room is unoccupied. It is more energy efficient to do this than

switch the heater off.

• Use the heater in frost protection mode if you are away

for long periods of time.

(A) Function selector: see table below for functions available

(B) Function display: will illuminate to show which function

has been selected with the function selector

position to give comfort level required. Heater will switch on

and off as necessary, and a higher setting will make the

room warmer.

(D) Thermostat indicator: will illuminate to show when heater

is delivering heat

(E) Cover opening tab

*Note: If the programme function is selected but no programming device is being used, the heater will function in comfort mode.

Symbol Function Description

Comfort Heater will maintain the temperature set on the thermostat

dial

Background (setback) Heater will maintain a lower temperature level for background

heating (preset to –3.5ºC)

0 Off Heater will not function

Programme Heater will be controlled by a programming device
