6. Saddle seat and screw

2 Cable Installation – Fig.8 Cable

2.1 Clean the cable for 1.5m from the cable jacket

end.

2.2 Install the cables according to the sequence

shown.

2.3 Remove the blank plugs from ports where cable

will be installed.

2.4Pull the cable through the gel block up to

1300mm.

2.5 Cable fixation position is shown below.

2.6 Wrap the cable with the foam strip at a proper

position, and secure the cable at the foam part with

tie wraps.

2.7 Install the saddle seat where the multiport kit will

be installed.

2.8 Install the tie wrap onto the saddle seat.

2.9 Insert the multiport kit into the slot shown.

2.10 Secure the multiport kit with tie wrap. Keep the

multiport kit level. Do not tilt the trigger part.

2.11 Remove the cable sheath at proper length, and

wrap the cable with the foam strip at the cable jacket

end. Secure the cable at the tray entrance with tie

wraps.

2.12 After closing all closure latches, screw the

multiport trigger clockwise until it stops.

3 Cable Installation – Round Cable

3.1 Clean the cable sheath with the cleaning tissue.

3.2 -3.6 Repeat 2.2 -2.6

3.7 Remove the cable jacket as shown.

3.8-3.11Repeat 2.7-2.10

3.12 Remove the loose tube up to 150mm from the

cable sheath end.

3.13 Clean the fiber bundle. Slide the transportation

tubes over the fibers up to 50mm from the cable

sheath end.

3.14 Route the transportation tubes to the tray

entrance. Secure the transportation tubes with tie

wraps.

3.15 After closing all closure latches, screw the

multiport trigger clockwise until it stops.

4. Re-entry & Additional Cable Installation

4.1 Unscrew the multiport trigger anti-clockwise first

and then open all latches to open the closure.

4.2 Repeat step 2.3.

4.3 After removing the multiport kit, store the

multiport kit at the cable port.

4.4 Repeat the steps in item 2 or 3 to install the new

cables.
