C8 P2725 Automatic

While we have always worn the British design

cues of our aviation collection proudly, the

C8 P2725 Automatic is a watch that nods to a

particularly denitive moment in RAF history.

This is because its dial is directly inuenced by the

cockpit instrument panel found within Hawker

Hurricane P2725, the ghter own by Flight Lieutenant

Ray Holmes on September 15 1940 – a date later

known as Battle of Britain Day – when he rammed a

German Dornier out of the sky, saving Buckingham

Palace in the process.

That plane’s cockpit dashboard would go on to

become the main inspiration behind the C9 P2725

TM-B Limited Edition, a watch that featured the

aforementioned dial design alongside a piece of

P2725 embedded in its backplate. For those that

didn’t require a sliver of Merlin engine in the back of

their watch, the C8 P2725 Automatic is just what

they were looking for, oering the same distinctive

dial layout at a far more aordable price.

Featuring an inner hour and outer minute track

accompanied by Arabic numerals, complete with

alternating shades of SuperLumiNova®for legibility

in all conditions, the C8 is a watch that allows its

wearer a glimpse of what Holmes’ Hurricane cockpit

experience was like – all without leaving the ground!

How to operate your C8 P2725 Automatic

Setting the time/date

The crown should sit ush to the case (position

)

in order to maintain water resistance.

• Position

is for winding in power. Wind in

a clockwise direction to re-power the watch.

Your C8 P2725 Automatic has a maximum power

reserve of 38 hours when fully wound.

• For rapid date correction pull gently into

position

and turn in a clockwise direction.

• For setting the time pull gently into position

and turn anti-clockwise to advance the time.

For precise time setting it is recommended to

pass beyond the desired minute and to set

the hand backwards.

• Push the crown back to position

PLEASE NOTE: Date correction should not be

carried out between 20.00 hr and 02.00 hr

as the watch gearing will already be aligning

itself to change the date. The crown should

always be pushed in after adjustment,

and it is best to do so from position 3 to

avoid advancing beyond the desired date.

How to operate your C8 P2725 Automatic

Using the quick-release pins on your strap

1. Locate the quick-release pin on your strap.

Pull the pin to the side to detach your strap.

2. To reattach your strap, align the pins to the

lug holes and click the strap into position.

Repeat for the other side.
