C65 Chronograph

The late 1960s were a time of experimentation. And that was as true

with watchmaking as it was in music, fashion or design.

Your C65 Chronograph is a homage to those incredible, unforgettable

times.

Something demonstrated perfectly by that beautifully proportioned

dial. With a design inspired by the ‘regatta’ watches of the 1960s and

’70s, its two subdials – one for seconds, the other a 30-minute counter

– not only add balance but are also an outward sign of the movement

that powers the watch. In this case, the self-winding Sellita SW510

BH a.

Not only is it accurate – it’s a Sellita after all – but its chronograph

functions enable you to use your watch as a fully equipped

stopwatch (the bright orange central-seconds starts when you

press the top pusher). If you need to time something, you can now

do so instantly and accurately. All without having to reach into your

pocket for your phone.

Which brings us back to the dial. The design. The capability on

show. The sheer joy of a timing instrument that fuses engineering

excellence with the out-there experimentation of the psychedelic

How to operate your C65 Chronograph

PLEASE NOTE: Date correction should not be carried out

between 20.00 hr and 02.00 hr as the watch gearing will

already be aligning itself to change the date. The crown

should always be pushed in after adjustment, and it is

best to do so from position 3to avoid advancing beyond

the desired date.

For a superior water resistance your crown is of the screw-down

type. The crown should sit ush to the case (position

) in order to

maintain water resistance.

• First unscrew the crown anti-clockwise from the case to position

2for winding in power. Wind in a clockwise direction to re-power

the watch. Your C65 Chronograph has a maximum power reserve

of 48 hours when fully wound.

• Pull gently into position 3. For rapid date correction, turn in an

anti-clockwise direction.

• Pull gently into position 4for handsetting and stopping of the

seconds hand. For precise time setting it is recommended to pass

beyond the desired minute and to set the hand backwards.

How to operate your C65 Chronograph

PUSH-BUTTON A

PLEASE NOTE: Before starting the

chronograph, reset the chronograph

hands to their original position. See the

reset section to set the counters to zero.

START

First unscrew the pushers anti-

clockwise from the case for

starting, stopping, restarting and

resetting the timing mode.

Press push-button A to start

timing.

Using the chronograph

START

STOP

To stop the timing, press push-

button A once more and read

the 2 chronograph counters,

for example: 3 mins / 34

seconds.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not operate the

chronograph pushers under water

in order to prevent water entering

the mechanism. Ensure pushers are

screwed ush to case.

RESET

To reset the timing, press push-

button B (The two chronograph

hands will be reset to their zero

positions).

RESTART/STOP

To restart the timing, press push-

button A again (timing

is resumed).

To stop timing press push-button

Aand read the two chronograph

counters: 10 mins / 34 seconds.
