2. Removal of the covers
2. REMOVAL OF THE COVERS
Removal of the front cover and lamp door.
To remove the front cover and the lamp door, consult the user guide of the projector, chapter “Projector covers, removal and instal-
lation”.
2.1 Removal of the back cover
Necessary tools
Flat screwdriver
How to remove the back cover
1. Release the 3 captive screws in the back cover.

2. Removal of the covers
2.2 Removal of the top cover
To remove the top cover, first remove the front and back cover and the lamp door.
Necessary tools
Flat screwdriver
How to remove the top cover
1. Release the captive screw in the middle of the top cover.

2. Pull the cover out of its locks and take it off.
2.3 Removal of the side cover on the input side
To remove the side cover, first remove the front, back and top cover.
Necessary tools
Allen wrench 3 mm
How to remove the side cover
1. Loosen both screws at the side of the cover.

Release the fixation
2. Lift up the side cover and pull them forward to take off.

2.4 Removal of the bottom cover
To remove the bottom cover, first remove all other covers.
Necessary tools
• Flat screwdriver
• Allenwrench8mm
How to remove the bottom cover
1. Remove the 3 plastic legs by turning them off.

Remove plastic legs
2. Turn out the 3 bolts (A).

Remove the bottom cover
3. Release both screws (B).

Before starting
To make it easy to replace the cables, place the projector on its back side.
3.1 Removal of the cables
Necessary tools
a pair of wire cutters
How to remove
1. Unplug the cable of the lamps.

2. Cut the necessary wire ties.
3. At the bottom side of the projector, unplug the info cables.

4. Pull the cables through the gap in the optical base.
3.2 Mounting the new cables

How to mount
1. Unpack the cables and mark both sides as described in the next table.

2. At the bottom side, plug one side of the cables in the correct position.
