Regulatory Information (EU/EFTA)
Your Ascom Myco combines the advanced features of mission-
critical communication with Android smartphone functionality.
Main features include voice- and data communication over Wi-Fi
and Cellular networks, and locationing using GPS.
NOTE: Product Designator for regulatory purposes of the Ascom
Myco is SH1.
For safe and efficient operation of the handset, observe all
necessary safety precautions when using the handset. Follow the
operating instructions and adhere to all warnings and safety
precautions located on the product, and in the User Manual.
This product shall only be used with the following batteries:
• Art.No.: 660455 Battery Pack SH1(incl. Battery cover)
Available power adapter and Micro USB cable (Suppliers
Designation) are:
• Art.No.: 660468 USB Power supply
• Art.No.: 660464 Micro USB cable
NOTE: To fulfil Regulatory requirements above USB accessories
must be used.

provisions of R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC (prior to 2017-06-13),

Restrictions for Wireless LANs (EU/EFTA and USA/
Canada)
* Dynamic Frequency Selection and Transmit Power Control is
required in the 5250 to 5350 MHz and 5470 to 5725 MHz
frequency range.
Additional National Restrictions
Always consult local authorities for the latest status of National
Regulations for both 2400 and 5000 MHz wireless LANs.

Quick Start
Insert the Micro-SIM (for the Cellular variant only)
1. The SIM card slot is located under the clip. Press on the clip to
open it fully, and insert the Micro-SIM in the SIM card slot, in
the direction as shown on the label.
TIP: If needed, use a pair of tweezers to hold it, then push it
into the slot.
Get the Ascom Myco started
2. Close the battery cover, and lock it. The handset starts within
seconds if the battery is charged.
3. If the handset does not start, charge the battery, and then
long press (press and hold) the Power button (on the
handset’s upper left side) to switch handset On.
4. When the handset is switched On, follow instructions from
your handset administrator, or if you are the administrator,
continue with the Easy Deployment procedure described in the
Configuration Manual (or the User Manual).

IMPORTANT: The battery is not fully charged from the factory. We
recommend you to allow the handset to charge fully before use.

Hurtig start
Indsæt Micro-SIM-kortet (kun til mobiltelefonudgaven)
1. SIM-kort holderen sidder under clipsen. Tryk forsigtigt på
clipsen for at åbne den helt og indsæt Micro-SIM-kortet i SIM-
kort holderen i den retning som er vist med pilen.
TIP: Du kan bruge en pincet til at holde kortet, og derefter
skubbe det ind i holderen.
Kom i gang med Ascom Myco
2. Luk batteridækslet og lås det. Håndsættet starter inden for
nogle få sekunder, hvis batteriet er opladet.
3. Hvis håndsættet ikke starter, skal du oplade batteriet, og
derefter give et langt tryk (tryk og hold) på tænd-knappen
(øverst på håndsættets venstre side) for at tænde for
håndsættet.
4. Når håndsættet er tændt, skal du følge anvisningerne fra din
håndsætsadministrator, eller, hvis du selv er administratoren,
udføre Kom nemt i gang-proceduren beskrevet i
konfigurationsvejledningen (eller brugervejledningen).
