1. Place pump in a sump basin that is at least 10 in wide

and 18 in deep.

2. Install rigid 1-1/2 in discharge pipe, union, check

valve according to code.

3. Drill a 3/16 in hole in the discharge pipe, level with the

top of pump. Pumps have a vent located in the pump,

but an additional vent hole is recommeded. Connect

remaining discharge pipe into main discharge line.

4. Connect pump power supply to a GFCI-protected

receptacle.

5. Fill the basin with water to check operation. Install a

basin cover and gasket on top of the basin.

1. Placez la pompe dans un puisard d’au moins 10 po de

large et 18 po de profondeur.

2. Installez le tuyau de refoulement rigide de 1 1/2 po,

le raccord union et le clapet antiretour conformément

au code.

3. Percez un trou de 3/16 po dans le tuyau de refoulement,

au niveau du haut de la pompe. Les pompes ont

un évent situé dans la pompe, mais un trou d’évent

supplémentaire est recommandé. Connectez le tuyau

de refoulement restant à la conduite de refoulement

principale.

4. Connectez l’alimentation électrique de la pompe à une

prise protégée par GFCI.

5. Remplissez le bassin d’eau pour vérier le

fonctionnement. Installez un couvercle de bassin et un

joint sur le dessus du bassin.
