Elite functionality
The Elite tap uses touch
sensitive controls to
dispense boiling, chilled
and sparkling water.
When operating the tap
ensure the touch surface
is dry as moisture may
interfere with the sensor touch
control.
The safety lock can be controlled
from either the tap or from the touch
screen display (See page 22).

Red BOILING water light
Continually illuminated
This indicates that the boiling water is ready.
Flashing slowly
This indicates that the boiling water is below the set dispense temperature.
Wait for the light to stop flashing before dispensing water. The light will
typically flash after switching on, or coming out of sleep mode.
Flashing quickly - warning light
When the indicator light flashes fast and continuous, a system fault has
occurred. Check for details on the faults screen (see page 12). If unable to
rectify, call a qualified service agent.

Tap safety
The safety lock feature is provided to prevent boiling water flowing if the red
BOILING control is inadvertently activated.
This function can be activated and deactivated from either the tap or from the

Filter light off
This indicates the filter is operating within its normal specified lifespan.
Filter light flashing slowly
The light will flash slowly when the filter is due for replacement and the LCD
will show ‘Filter Change. See ‘To change the filter’ page 23.
• To allow the safety setting to be changed using the touch screen, (see
page 22).
• To enable or disable the tap safety lock, (see page 22).
• For hot isolation, (see page 22).
To dispense boiling water with the safety lock off
Touching the red BOILING button allows the dispensing of boiling water.
To dispense boiling water with the safety lock on
Place a finger on the safety lock, then touch the red BOILING button,keeping
both fingers in position to dispense boiling water.
To dispense chilled water
Touch the blue CHILLED button to dispense chilled water.

Classic functionality
The Classic tap uses lever switch
controls to operate the tap.
Lever controls can be pushed back
to dispense water manually, or pulled
forward to dispense water for a fixed
time period, (see page 23). Once pulled
forward, levers need to be manually
returned to the OFF position.
The safety lock can be
controlled from either the tap or
from the touch screen display
(See page 22).

Continually illuminated
This indicates that the boiling water is ready.
Flashing slowly
This indicates that the boiling water is below the set dispense temperature.

When the chilled water is at the set temperature, the light will stop flashing.
This could take several minutes.
During heavy usage, the temperature can rise out of this range.

Tap safety
The safety lock feature is provided to prevent boiling water flowing if the red
BOILING control is inadvertently activated.
This function can be activated and deactivated from either the tap or from the
touch screen display (located on the Command-CentreTM).
To activate the safety lock from the tap
(Ensure ‘Allow safety settings change’ is selected, see page 22).
First place a finger over the safety lock, then depress the blue CHILLED lever,
keep both fingers in position for a period of approximately ten seconds. The
safety lock indicator light will illuminate.
To deactivate the safety lock from the tap
First place a finger over the safety lock, then depress the blue CHILLED
lever, while keeping both fingers in position for a period of approximately ten
seconds. The safety lock indicator light will extinguish.
• To allow the safety setting to be changed using the touch screen, (see
page 22).
• To enable or disable the tap safety lock, (see page 22).
• For hot isolation, (see page 22).
To dispense boiling water with the safety lock off
Press the red BOILING lever to dispense boiling water.
Pulling forward the red BOILING lever allows the tap to operate in a “no-
touch” mode. Water will flow from between 5 and 15 seconds (this is user
adjustable, see page 23).
To reset, return the lever to the OFF position and repeat the step. (The lever
has to be manually returned to the OFF position).
To dispense water
To dispense boiling water with the safety lock on
Press the red BOILING lever, while simultaneously covering the safety lock
button with a second finger. These two actions need to occur within 2 seconds
to dispense boiling water.
Filter light flashing slowly
The light will flash slowly when the filter is due for replacement and the LCD
will show ‘Filter Change’. (See To change the filter, page 23).
To dispense chilled water
Press the blue CHILLED lever to dispense chilled water.
Pulling forward the blue CHILLED lever allows the tap to operate in a “no-
touch” mode. Water will flow from between 5 and 15 seconds (this is user

To dispense sparkling water
Press both blue CHILLED and red BOILING levers together, simultaneously to
dispense sparkling water.
Pulling forward the blue CHILLED and red BOILING levers together allows the
tap to operate in a “no-touch” mode. Water will flow from between 5 and 15
seconds (this is user adjustable, see page 23).
To reset, return the lever to the OFF position and repeat the step. The lever
has to be manually returned to the OFF position.

• Shield the HydroTap®G4 from any
direct sunlight.
• With the Command-CentreTM in
normal operating mode and safety
lock enabled, turn the power off.
• Pull both tap levers to the forward
position.
• Turn the power on.
• The Command-CentreTM will calibrate
the safety switch.
• Return the levers to the neutral
position.
Safety sensor calibration
Light intensity varies from site to site, therefore it is recommended that a
recalibration be performed at the time of the installation.
All direct sunlight must be shaded from the HydroTap®G4, during the
calibration. This can be achieved by closing any nearby curtains, blinds, etc.

On power up, wait 30secs. for the unit to
calibrate before selecting either the BOILING
red illuminated with safety, CHILLED
blue or SPARKLING white illuminated
water mode, by touching the select
button.
The Arc / Cube control may be rotated in a forward
or reverse direction to
dispense water.
The rotary control is spring loaded in the forward
direction and when released, will return to the OFF
position.
When rotated in the reverse direction the tap
operates in a POT FILL mode. Water will flow from
between 5 and 15 seconds (This is user adjustable,
see page 23). To reset, return the control to the
OFF position and repeat the step. The control has to be manually returned to

the OFF position.
When unattended, the control light will automatically default to the CHILLED
(blue illuminated) mode after a short period.
Tap lights
Red BOILING water (safety, select and indicator) lights
Continually illuminated
This indicates that the boiling water is ready.

All three tap lights (Safety, Select and Indicator light) will flash white every
10 seconds, indicating a filter change is required.
Reset the filter light see page 14.
Flashing slowly
This indicates that the chilled water is not within the set temperature range.
When the chilled water is at the set temperature, the light will stop flashing.
This could take several minutes.
During heavy usage, the temperature can rise out of this range.

To dispense boiling water with the safety lock on
Touch the select button until the indicator, select and safety buttons illuminate
red, then touch the safety button twice until the three red lights flash (the
lights will flash for approx. 2 seconds) if the tap control is not rotated, then
the select, safety and indicator lights will return to continually illuminated red
(and after a short period the select and indicator lights will return to continually
illuminated blue as a safety precaution).
Boiling water may be dispensed by rotating the control while the three red
illuminated lights are flashing.
While dispensing boiling water, all three red illuminated lights will continue to
flash.
To dispense chilled water
Rotate the control when the indicator light is illuminated blue to dispense
chilled water.
If illuminated red or white, touch the SELECT button until the indicator light
illuminates blue.
To dispense sparkling water
Rotate the control when the indicator light is illuminated white to dispense
sparkling water.
If illuminated red, or blue touch the SELECT button until the indicator light
illuminates white.

Touch the SELECT button until the indicator and select lights illuminate red.
Rotate the control when the indicator lights are illuminated red to dispense
boiling water.

All-in One HydroTap®G4
Tap functionality and
operation
The top of the All-in-
One tap is operated in
the same manner as a
Classic HydroTap®G4. The
two levers are used for
dispensing boiling, chilled
and sparkling water. The
safety lock also operating
in the same manner as the
Classic HydroTap®G4.
The mixer tap lever is
operated as a conventional
‘flick mixer’. The hot direction
is marked with a red dot and
the cold direction with a blue dot, for dispensing cold to warm water.
Moving the lever away from the tap will increase the flow rate and towards
the tap will decrease the flow rate.
When the lever is moved in the direction of the blue dot, the temperature is
decreased and when moved in the direction of the red dot, the temperature
is increased. The final temperature will be dependant on the temperature
of the incoming cold water. The spout may be swivelled, left or right, for
convenience.
Classic , Arc and Cube mixer taps
Tap functionality and operation
Classic, Arc and Cube mixer taps operate in the same manner as the All in One mixer
tap, detailed above.

Note When selecting new options, the screen will revert to the main menu, if
the screen remains inactive for a period in excess of 10 seconds.
Note As an energy saving feature, the home screen will turn off after 5
minutes of non use. Touching the darkened LCD panel will reactivate the
home screen.
