Wir gratulieren Ihnen zu Ihrem neuen ZEISS Dialyt 18–45 x65, das Ihnen faszinierende
Seherlebnisse ermöglicht.
Wie alle Produkte der Marke ZEISS ist auch das ZEISS Dialyt geprägt durch hervorragende
optische Leistungen, präzise Verarbeitung und eine lange Lebensdauer.
Lesen Sie die folgenden Gebrauchshinweise sorgfältig durch, damit Sie Ihr ZEISS Dialyt optimal

Pflege und Aufbewahrung
Das ZEISS Dialyt bedarf keiner besonderen Pflege. Grobe Schmutzteilchen (z.B. Sand) auf
den Linsen nicht abwischen, sondern wegblasen oder mit einem Haarpinsel entfernen.
Fingerabdrücke können nach einiger Zeit die Oberflächen angreifen. Anhauchen und mit einem
sauberen Optikreinigungstuch sanft nachreiben ist die einfachste Art optische Oberflächen zu
reinigen.
Gegen den besonders in den Tropen möglichen Pilzbelag auf der Optik hilft eine trockene
Lagerung und gute Belüftung.
Zum sicheren Aufbewahren und Transportieren sind die im Lieferumfang vorhandenen Schutz-
deckel zu benutzen.

Sicherheitshinweise
• Achtung: Schauen Sie keinesfalls mit dem ZEISS Dialyt in die Sonne oder in Laserlichtquellen.
Dies kann zu schweren Augenverletzungen führen.
• Setzen Sie das Produkt nicht ohne Schutzdeckel oder ohne Tasche längere Zeit der Sonne aus.
Das Objektiv und das Okular können wie ein Brennglas wirken und innen liegende Bauteile
zerstören.
Integriertes Okular
Das in Monobloc-Bauweise konzipierte ZEISS Dialyt 18– 45x 65 verfügt über ein fest eingebautes
Vario-Okular (C). Dieses kann nicht abgenommen werden.
Stativmontage
Eine Beobachtung ist aufgrund der hohen Vergrößerung nur auf Basis einer stabilen Auflage (z.B.
Rucksack, Jacke, etc.) bzw. eines Stativs empfehlenswert. Der Stativfuß (E) des ZEISS Dialyt verfügt
über die Gewinde 3/8" und 1/4" (über eingebauten Gewindeeinsatz) mit denen sich das ZEISS
Dialyt auf alle handelsüblichen Stative montieren lässt.
Beobachten mit und ohne Brille
Für das Beobachten mit Brille, lässt sich die Gummi-Augenmuschel (F) umstülpen. Für das
Beobachten ohne Brille, benutzen Sie das Spektiv mit gestreckter Augenmuschel.
Fokussierung
Die frontseitige Objektivfokussierung (A) ermöglicht Ihnen ein Fokussieren bei gleichzeitig größt-
möglicher Bildruhe. Durch Drehen können Sie Objekte in Entfernungen von 10m bis unendlich
scharf stellen.
Peilhilfe
Die Peilhilfe (D) auf der Objektivfokussierung ermöglicht das rasche Anvisieren eines Objektes.
Anbringen des Tragegurtes
Ziehen Sie den Tragegurt (G) durch die Ösen des Objektivschutzdeckels, durch die Tragegurt-Öse
am Stativfuß (B) sowie durch die Ösen des Okularschutzdeckels.

For optimal use of your ZEISS Dialyt, read the following operating instructions carefully to ensure

Care and storage
The ZEISS Dialyt does not require special care. Do not wipe coarse dirt particles (e.g. sand) from
the lens, but rather blow away or remove these with a hair brush. After some time, fingerprints
can attack the surface. The simplest method for cleaning an optical surface is to breathe on it and
softly rub with a clean optical cleaning cloth.
Dry storage and good ventilation help to prevent the possible formation of mould film on the
optics, especially in tropical climates.
For safe storage and transportation, please use the supplied protective cap.
Safety instructions
• Caution: Never look into the sun or in laser light sources with the ZEISS Dialyt. This can lead
to serious eye injury.
• Do not leave the product in the sun for extended periods unless using a protective cap or a
case. The objective lens and eyepiece can function as a burning glass and damage the interior
components.

Integrated eyepiece
The ZEISS Dialyt 18 – 45 x 65 is designed in monobloc style and has a permanently installed Vario
eyepiece (C), which cannot be removed.
Tripod mounting
Due to the high magnification, observation is only recommended when set on a stable support
(e.g. backpack, jacket, etc.) or on a tripod.
The ZEISS Dialyt tripod foot (E) has 3/8" and 1/4" threads (via installed threaded insert) with which
the ZEISS Dialyt can be mounted on all commercially available tripods.
Observation with and without glasses
For observation with glasses, the rubber eyecup (F) can be turned inside out. For observation
without glasses, use the scope with opened eyecup.
Focusing
The lens focusing (A) on the front facilitates focusing with the highest possible image steadiness.
Turn to bring objects at a distance of 10m upwards into sharp focus.
Sight
The sight (D) on the lens focusing enables speedy focusing on the object.
Attaching the carrying strap
Pull the carrying strap (G) through the eyes of the protective lens cap, through the carrying strap
eyes on the tripod (B) and through the eyes of the ocular protective cap.
