Charging:
The Zartek ZA-452 f ash ight is portab e and rechargeab e yet extreme y bright
with a ong operating time. Direct y p ug in the mains or vehic e adaptor into the
side socket to charge.
On y recharge using supp ied adaptors with output of 4.2V.
A red LED n the adapt r indicates charging, green LED indicates fully
charged.
Charging will nly begin if the t rch butt n is in an ON m de.
P ug the charger into the side charging socket when the torch is OFF. Press the
button at the back of the torch to start recharging.
Recharging is easy and safe as the battery cannot be overcharged. The charger
wi stop charging once fu .

This f ash ight has a Li-ion battery pack. To protect the battery from discharge
during shipping, a round p astic insu ator fi m is inserted inside the battery
compartment between the battery and the torches back cap. Remember to
remove the insu ator piece before first time use.
A though the unit arrives partia y charged from the factory, it must be fu y
charged for 4 hours before first use. This initia charge pre-conditions the battery
for fu capacity. Fai ure to charge may shorten the ife span of the battery. Once
the ight gets dim, recharge the battery immediate y as it cou d get damaged if
eft very f at.
A ways make sure to rep ace the rubber socket cover after charging to keep the
f ash ight sp ash proof.
WARNING!
• Fu y charge the f ash ight before storing for ong periods. Keep recharging
every few months or the battery may go fau ty.
• Do not recharge this f ash ight with any other adaptors other than those
supp ied with the unit.
• Do not dispose of the battery in a fire or ordinary waste.
• Do not operate the f ash ight in high temperature, hazardous or exp osive
environments.
• Do not subject the f ash ight to strong impacts.
• Do not disassemb e or modify the f ash ight as it contains protective
devices which, if damaged, may cause the battery to heat or ignite.
• Do not eave the f ash ight in direct sun ight or hot spaces for extended
periods.
• Never short circuit, reverse po arity, disassemb e, damage or heat the
battery packs over 100°C. If an exp oded Li-ion battery does ignite, it wi
burn more vio ent y if it comes into contact with water or moisture. Never
put water on a burning Li-ion battery on y use a fire extinguisher.
• This f ash ight is rain and sp ash proof on y but not submersib e. If the ight
gets submersed in water, immediate y dry the f ash ight and do not use for
a few days. Water damage is usua y irreparab e.

Mem ry functi n enab es the torch to turn on in the ast mode used. The m de
will nly be mem rised if the t rch is OFF f r m re than 5 sec nds. If the
torch is OFF for ess than 5 seconds the mode wi be changed. To change
quick y between modes, soft press the button.
The ZA452 has a magnifying ens for uniform ight dispersion and the beam can
be adjusted from f ood to spot by shifting the head. A spot beam wi reach further
and a f ood beam wi be wider.
There are 2 co our enses, red and green, stored in the back cap. Unscrew the
front ring on the torch head and p ace either ens on top of the c ear ens to
change co our. Screw back the front ring to secure.
Red Lense is used for signa ing & non-invasive anima viewing
Green Lense is used for map & non-disruptive viewing
The Zartek ZA-452 f ash ight has a s im design with easy recharging function
essentia for security app ications. This powerfu torch is a so durab e and idea
for outdoor, mining, industria and genera use. LED g obes are shockproof and
never need rep acing. The a uminium casing is shockproof & sp ash proof (IP65).
Maintenance:
A batteries ose charge over time. It is recommended that the f ash ight shou d
be fu y recharged every 2-3 months when not in use.
If the unit gets dirty, gent y c ean the outer surface of the f ash ight with a soft
c oth moistened with a mi d so ution of water and detergent.
Store in a coo , dry p ace.
Warranty:
This product is warranted by Zartek against manufacturing defects in materia s
and workmanship under norma use for a 12 month period from date of purchase
via our authorized appointed dea ers.
