Introduction
When it comes to control hardware, it is necessary to provide an easy yet
powerful interface for the personnel in charge. XPanel Touch is created
with this purpose in mind. The menu names and control parameters are
programmable via our software provided along with the device. As a matter
of fact, the XPanel Touch is so flexible that it not only allows the user
to define what parameters to be controlled, but the min/max of the
parameters’ range by drag-n-drop operation in the easy-to-use PC GUI,
XPanel Design. Working with the X-Series processors, it allows the
processors to create a control network not only with computers, but also
with the XPanels. Multiple XPanels, processors and computers can exist
in the same network. It yields total control to the user with tremendous
power and flexibility beyond imagination.

To prevent any internal damage overheating, do not block the vent at the rear of
the machine. The product should ALSO not be placed in a built-in installation
such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the
manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.
7. DO NOT PLACE IT ANYWHERE HIGHER THAN ROOM TEMPERATURE
It is recommended that this product should be situated away from heat sources
such as radiators, stoves, or other products (including amplifiers) that produces
heat.
8. DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE POLARIZED OR
GROUNDING-TYPE PLUG
A Polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type
plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prongs are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your
outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
9. PROTECT THE POWER CORD FROM BEING WALKED ON OR PINCHED
PARTICULARLY AT PLUGS, CONVENIENCE RECEPTACLES, AND THE
POINT WHERE THEY EXIT FROM THE APPARATUS.
10. ONLY USE ATTACHMENTS/ACCESSORIES SPECIFIED BY THE
MANUFACTURER.
11. USE ONLY WITH CART, STAND, TRIPOD, BRACKET, OR TABLE SPECIFIED
BY THE MANUFACTURER, OR SOLD WITH THE APPARATUS. WHEN A
CART IS USED, USE CAUTION WHEN MOVING THE CART/APPARATUS TO
AVOID INJURY FROM TIP-OVER.
Do not place this unit on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The unit
may fall, causing serious injury to someone, and serious damage to the appliance.
A unit and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive
force, and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to
overturn.
12. UNPLUG THIS APPARATUS DURING LIGHTNING STORMS OR WHEN
UNUSED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
For added protection for this unit during a lightning storm, or when it is left
unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and
disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the unit due
to lightning and power line surges.
13. REFER ALL SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. SERVICING
IS REQUIRED WHEN THE APPARATUS HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANYWAY,
SUCH AS WHEN THE POWER SUPPLY CORD OR PLUG IS DAMAGED,
LIQUID HAS BEEN SPILLED OR OBJECTS HAVE FALLEN INTO THE
APPARATUS, THE APPARATUS HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO RAIN OR
MOISTURE, DOES NOT OPERATE NORMALLY, OR HAS BEEN DROPPED.
14. WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT
EXPOSE THIS APPARATUS TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.
15. APPARATUS SHALL NOT BE EXPOSED TO DRIPPING OR SPLASHING AND
NO OBJECTS FILLED WITH LIQUIDS, SUCH AS VASES, SHALL BE PLACED
ON THEAPPARATUS.
A. XPanelDesign Installation
Double click the XPanel file to start the installation; select the directory of where you
would like to install the PC GUI.After installing, user can now design and define the
control objects via drag-n-drop operation.
B. Configuration
XPanel Touch provides both wireless and Ethernet cable connection with
processor and computer. For more detailed setup, please refer to below,
1. Ethernet Connection
For Ethernet connection, a router or switch is required for cable link
between a processor, computer and the panel, illustrated as follows.

While for wireless application, one router with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n standard is required,
and for a better result, 802.11 n is recommended for quicker data exchange.
To connect via Wi-Fi, you must turn on and configure the wireless network properties in
Setup menu at first, then follow below to complete.

Detect and connect the correct router linked with processor to proceed. At times, input
of password is needed for connection security.

Click to start XPanelDesign on PC and run theAndroid app XPanelTouch on the panel.
If the connection is correct, i.e. both the PC and the panel are within a same network;
the panel will be automatically detected and displayed on the XPanelDesign.

If the panel cannot be detected in XPanelDesign, please check your network
configurations.
C. Project design
3.1 Quick instance:
XPanelDesign window consists of three functional blocks, that’s the control object and
device list to the left, design zone in the middle and the properties menu to the right.

Below will show you how to design a project to mute channel 1 on device ID no.1.
I.Design：
First select the <Mute> object from the control liston the left and drag to the design
zone in middle.

You can edit the text, font, color and size in the properties menu as follows,

II.Command Setup
To make the controlled object effective, definitions of a targeted unit should be properly
configured in <Command Setup> sub category.

Click the tab enter pop-up menu

In the <Command Setup> menu, each row stands for one unit; selected function can
be activated per I/O or per channel. Max. 16 devices can be defined for one object.
After finish, click <Confirm> to save the settings and return, or <Cancel> to discard.
III.Project Upload
Next step is to upload the finish project into XPanel Touch.
